Played Monday around 1000. Parking lot was crowded, but most must have gone off earlier because of the 99* day. Typical covid-19 procedures. Warm up net (no range). However, I think they are trying to discourage using it as there were only a few balls there, and they were probably old shag balls some of the golfers had in their bags and donated after they used them to warm up. Only 2 golfers at a time allowed on practice green by #1. Course moved fairly well. Was a slow group about 3 in front of us who had a hole open the entire round. Finished in 4:10 anyway. This course plays like 2 different courses front to back, The front is tighter, and requires you to use good course management. Nice undulating greens that are surprisingly receptive considering the heat we're having. The first 3 holes on the back just grip it and rip it. Then the fun starts. From #13 to the finish, you have a series of fun/goofy holes, up and down the hills. The greens on a few of them are only missing a windmill and a clown's mouth. No flat spots, and the only straight putts you'll have are below the flag. But, that being said, that's what makes the course fun. It makes you think, occasionally takes the driver out of your hand and causes you to either love or hate it. The price is definitely right. As one of my playing partners says, "why do those guys hate this course? They can't break 90 anywhere, anyway. So to them, a golf course should be a place to play. The end." The course is in great shape comparatively speaking to every other time I've played it. I recommend it. Have a fun time.
