Played Thurs AM as first off so POP was no issue. We found the course to be in good shape, though some of the tee boxes had been scraped, but not really an issue. Most of the tee boxes were just fine. rough was dormant but sticky and can cause issues. + there are many OB areas throughout the course. No issue playing out of the traps early AM. Fairways had been painted (though some of it is fading) and we had good lies and great roll out on all of them. Greens were fast and furious and fun to putt on. Customer service was awesome at all levels. Sr rate of $34 with cart is a bargain IMO. Recommended.

Played yesterday as the first tee time out as a single walking. Pace is not an issue for me on this course since I am always the first or second out. This review goes for the past couple of weeks for the course.
Tee boxes- showing winter conditions as sparse grass so you would need to use a tee on the tee boxes.

Fairways are dormant so you do get a lot of roll on tee shots, they are painted green so that you are able to tell the difference from fairway to rough. Rough is non existent since its winter conditions. Of note some fairways are chewed up from lazy asses in carts driving all over the fairways leaving muddy areas. There also seems to be a skunk problem on the 4th fairway as there are holes where they dig to search for food.

Greens are medium fast and hold their lines. As always I fix alot of ball marks from the previous days golfers.
The course is in winter conditions so it is not as pristine as spring but the conditions are playable so I have no complaints.

One of my favorite places to play. A fun course with great rates, and a staff that always is friendly and accommodating. While not the most difficult course, it still provides enough challenge to keep your interest, but affords plenty of scoring opportunities.

Conditions were about as expected. I was kind of disappointed to the fact that they dye the fairways. It's winter and dormant grass is part of the season. Still very playable, just not as "pretty". I am impressed by just how nice they keep the course with such a minimal maintenance staff and that they continue to offer a wonderful golf experience at a very fair price, one of the best bargains in the area,

Played Tuesday 12/8... dormant painted green fairways...some tight lies around greens..greens play well even hold on higher shots. Course is one where keeping it in he fairways makes scoring rather easy...I am a 17 handicap and shot 78 from the whites (par 70). Need to play a couple times to learn some of the odd places you just cannot hit your shots because there are many places that look right but they are not. Just one warning when we made the turn at 11:20 there were no carts left and guys/gals were waiting on them and course was not overly busy....covid-19 lots of single riders again.

met up with a friend here late morning wednesday. this course is probably the cheapest in the south corona corridor so it gets pretty packed. by late morning there was already a wait for carts and they were running about 10-15 minutes behind the tee schedule. check in was generally friendly though when i showed up 10 minutes before my tee time at the counter they asked me to come back in 5-10 minutes to check in because they were behind. a minor annoyance. Much worse was the POP. waiting on most every shot and after four hours we were still on hole 14. when we got to 15 tee there was a group on the green and two groups on the tee so we just gave up. would have been on track for a 5+ hour round. fairways are fast and hard but they are all spray painted green, there isn't any actual green grass on the fairway. no rough, that's just brown grass. some tee boxes were ok, some really shaggy and #3 was very wet. greens were the only saving grace and in really good condition. it's not a terrible course, but i won't play here again with that pace of play. personally would prefer it if they just spaced out the tee times and raised the rates if they have to.

One of my favorite golf courses to play, in part because the staff here is always terrific to deal with, very accommodating. Courses conditions are always good here, and generally have no issues. Even the bunkers were better than expected. Greens rolled well, but not as true and quick as usual. Good coverage on the fairways.

Cool, no cold in the morning, but warmed up nicely, so by the back nine it was a near perfect day to play golf. With all that's going on in the world today, it is so wonderful to get out and enjoy this distraction. One of the many reasons I love golf !

11/16 using GK voucher $33 playing with my son Grant on a pleasant but warmish morning POP about 415 with waiting on most holes--5some out in front of 4 some and with the work on the tees looked like the 5some was in over their depth(most white tees were set back with the blues). We had decided to play the golds with the possibility of playing the whites if any of those tees were open but were paired with 2 really enjoyable guys, Dave and Hal who were playing the gold so we just stayed with them--interesting to have short irons or wedges into the greens--way less stress but felt a little like cheating.
Fairways have good cover even with being firm for helpful roll. Tees tended to be wet and worn but level. Played out of 1 fairway bunker which was ok and by observation others seemed to have adequate sand. No rough to speak of.
Greens are mostly healed holding shots and rolling medium fast. Large greens with undulations so had several putts up and over and down ton the hole.
Friendly staff easy check in and a starter on top of his game. No range just a cage for irons only. Putting green with bumpers. No sand on carts and no GPS. Had a good time.

On 11/3/2020, I played Dos Lagos for the first time and really enjoyed it. Being a course located in an arid area, after a hot summer and dry spell, I was not expecting the conditions to be very good. I was pleasantly surprised and found the fairways to be in very good condition.
The greens had been punched a few weeks earlier, and there were minor bumps, but they were healing nicely. Many of the tee boxes did not have much grass on them, and perhaps management was beginning to repair them. My ball did not find a bunker, but from appearance only, the sand appeared like compressed dirt... not very soft or "fluffy." Regardless, it was a good experience and I will definitely play here again.

Played Fri Nov 6th at 910. At check in Ruth is just a joy to begin a round of golf, the entire staff is very friendly and nice, after check in we were told about the tees being moved because maintenance was being done on the tee boxes, well truthfully it really did mess up the round, we play whites and most of the whites were way back by the blues, did not like the course at this lentgh, and since we had a 4 group tourny going on, we couldn't change tees. The course was very dry with the exception of #1, there was a small pond in front of the green, standing water the size of a car. Other than that the fairways were very hard and the ball just rolls,. Hole #6 prime example, hit your 2nd shot up by the green and it rolls back 70 yards into the water. Hole #16 we teed off from the blues on a tee box we didn't even know was there, it was a very long carry into the wind and when everyone is up in age, this distance was just too much. The greens have recovered and well not bad, will be better in another week. If you are going to play here soon, and you are a shorter hitter, play the reds, not the whites where they have them, do not feel you are playing the womens tees, theses are the tees you will enjoy your round from. This round was no fun. I unfortunately did not think the course was in that good of shape.
