Played Fri July 17th, Really nice day. POP was 4:15 from the blues which was good. Course was in really good shape, Tee boxes, fairways bunkers, (yes I was in a few) lol and greens were really nice. I messed my self up for the round because the guys I was playing with wanted to play the Blues. Man why did I go along???? I was so mad at myself for not stepping up and telling them I am playing the white. Here I wait all week to have fun at golf on Friday, and I screw it up by going along with where they are playing. South is long enough from the white and I have shot 88 from the whites there so I can play, but knowing I was from the blues, the 1st 4 holes my head never got in the game. And then it even got worse. I should know better. But I do like the South course and it was in good shape.

played 6-1-15 second round of the day, $15 cart fee on express card replay. Course is in good shape. Tee boxes were lush and level. Fairways were in good shape with great lies. Rough is cut back and not much of a factor. Traps have nice fluffy white sand. Greens are still showing signs from punching but still rolled pretty good with medium speed. North course is in a little better shape, but once the greens completely heal it will be close to as good a shape. Cant believe I played 36 at Los Serranos in under 8 hours in the middle of the day. What ever they are doing for pace of play I hope they keep it up.

Hello fellow golfers. I played the South side of Los Serranos today. I haven't played here in a couple of years due to the slow play. Well, the pace was about avg this Sun the 17th of May. The course offers a pretty good challenge from the blue tees. If the wind is blowing, like it usually is then it becomes more of a distance off the tee game. The course is pretty wide open, meaning if you miss a fairway it won't hurt you as much as missing one like at Champions. On most holes if you miss a fairway you are probably in another fairway. The tee boxes were pretty flat with ample grass. I didn't really see any bare spots on the tee boxes or fairways. The greens were actually rolling pretty good, at least a 9. I don't have any complaints about this round or the conditions of the course. Until next time...

Got out yesterday to los serranos south course. And as the others have said, this course is recovering nicely! Greens are almost 100% and roll fast and smooth. It's always a good time when they're rolling this fast. They must be preparing for a tourney or something. This course is long if teeing up from the blues. Blacks tees are deep! Distance is rewarded, as always. On some holes though, laying back is the best play. If your thinking of making it out here, would definitely recommend. Fun track!

As my neighbors son just played in a tournament here this weekend and raved about condition, I thought I'd check it out. Good decision as the course is probably in as nice shape as I've seen it. Very impressed with how true the greens rolled out. While not super quick, because they rolled so well, the ball/chips just kept going.

Always enjoy playing here, but I sure do miss all the trees that were lost to the infestation years ago, but at least they are making an effort in replanting, but it won't be in my lifetime before the course resembles what it was once was.

While the course measures a lot of yards, because it plays to a par 74 with 6 par 5 holes, it just doesn't overwhelm like you'd expect.

I played this course for the first time last week. It was fabulous. I played as a single at 6.45am and walked the course - and it's quite a walk. It was a crisp, sunny morning so all was good in the world and the South course was the cherry on top. It's long - about 7000 yards - but somehow it doesn't feel like that when you're playing - walking yes, playing no. Everything was in great shape - greens were running around 9 - very true - confidently keeping its lines. Fairways in great shape, tee boxes the same. Rough was a little punishing but nothing a hybrid couldn't handle. And when you walk up to the 7th tee and look up - bang! - right in front of you are the snow capped mountains....wow...I had to lean on my club for a minute just to take in their majesty in the still and quiet and calm. It was breathtaking. Just like the walk up top the tee.

And at $22 to walk with my birdie card, you can't beat the value. 10/10. Can't wait to go back.

Played 2/9, afternoon T time. If you have a new driver, this is the course that I recommend to break it in, long and plenty of room off the T's.

Played 2/9, afternoon T time. If you have a new driver, this is the course that I recommend to break it in, long and plenty of room off the T's.
I rated T boxes, Sand Traps and Greens at almost immaculate condition. Fairways were well covered, but no where near lush, like you see at over seeded resort type courses. Rough had grown out quite a bit, since last review.
Layout is a classic design, not much thought from the T, just slam it as far down the fairway as possible.
There were two tourneys going on both courses, that slowed pace to 5 hours, seriously cut into the enjoyment of the course.

Played 2-5-15 first out walking joining a twosome riding playing in 3:25. Shape of course has improved a little since last time I played here. Tee boxes lush and level. Fairways were lush and very nice to hit from. Rough is cut very short, not much different from fairways. Keeping my pattern of hitting a couple of green side bunkers, both of which had excellent sand and real nice to hit from. Greens were rolling smooth with medium fast speed. Pro shop guys were very nice and friendly.

Played Friday 23rd 7:08 tee time. Really cold. Course was in great shape, tee boxes, fairways were great. Bunkers had allot of soft sand, and I was in about 6, LOL greens rolled really well, were faster than they looked. POP was "ok" for south 4hr 20 minutes, would have been much faster but we waited every hole for a 4some in front of us, and I mean every hole. As mentioned in my last review of the South course, the woman who checked us in was very pleasurable and friendly. Nice to start a round like that. I really do like this course.
