Played Fri Dec 18th at 7:30 man it was cold but by the 4th hole we were pealing the layers of clothes off. We got a cart that concked out by hole 3 tee box and they had another one to us before we reached the 3rd green, good and fast. I thought the course was in real good shape. Tee boxes, fairways good. Green side bunkers had really soft sand which I like, but my partners do not, lol they had breakfast in the bunkers (fried egg lie) 6 times between the 3 of them and yes I laughed. Lol all in fum..... I did notice the coots were only a problem on 17 so either the course is trying to get rid of them or they all went to the North course. Lol the course still needs to work on them though. POP was great, just under 4 hours, no one in front, never waited on a shot. Always a good time at Los Serranos

Played black Friday at 653. POP was ok at 4:30 even though we waited on every shot. It was very cold and with the cold and the wet fairways we decided to play the whites instead of the blues. As usual the course was in great shape good tee boxes, fairways, good sand in the traps and the greens rolled true. I just couldn't get the speed correct. The only complaint is the course needs to do a midnight house cleaning ( if you know what I mean) as there are so many coots it is very distracting and just plain "nasty" had a good day.

Played Thursday 10/23, mid morning start time. I consider Los Seranos to be my second home course behind San Dimas. Customer service is very good, great bunch of guys and gals.

Played Thursday 10/23, mid morning start time. I consider Los Seranos to be my second home course behind San Dimas. Customer service is very good, great bunch of guys and gals.
Greens, Fairways, T's and Bunkers, I rated 8/10.
Rough is sparse, not very penal, 5/10.
Carts are in very good shape with GPS.
Layout is very challenging, if you are not at least moderately long off the T. I recommend the North course, if that is the case.
Pace of play is good, except a snag on the 3rd hole.

Played Fri Oct 9th at 7am. Got in on the last day of reduced rate for maintenance and didn't even know the course was doing it, so it was a nice surprise. I must say I really respect a course when they give discounts when the course is going through maintenance. These courses are a class act. So we played form the blues and pop was right at 4 hours, great pace. We let a 2 some play through on the 3rd hole and really never waited or was pushed there after. The tee boxes were level, fairways really nice, a little wet first few holes so not much roll out. It got hot real quick and the fairways ran more later . I was in 3 bunkers and sand was good. I thought the greens rolled real nice. Being it was hot and allot of water on the course the nats really bothered your eyes and we kept backing off. Bring some bug spray. I mentally went in thinking boggie golf so I wouldn't try to over hit the ball because of the length of the blue tees and if it wasn't for the nats and hole 10 (took an 8) I did it, shot 95 so had a good day.

Walked the Whites (72.5/133/6743) with RGM2525 for $15 in 3H, 50M playing mid day 10/7. Excellent golf weather, clear, mid 80's & a little breezy. First time I had played here in probably 20 years and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Only par 74 layout I have ever played, got to love six par 5's! The course is very challenging to walk, it's long and constantly up/down hills. Additionally, numerous tees are a hike (usually uphill) from the last green. The tees were fairly level and decent overall. Numerous par 3 tees were fairly chewed up. The fairways were generally good, I never had bad lies in the fairway. The rough was hit/miss. More lush closer to the course, you could tell they were concentrating their water in the more played areas. The areas that were weeds/hardpan any half way decent shot isn't going to be in to start with, so no complaints there. The sand traps were well maintained with nice, fine, high quality sand. The very large to HUGE greens looked very lush. They are probably 90-95% recovered after recent aeration, still a little bumpy, putting medium slow and holding approach shots well. However, you could see that in 7-10 days they would likely be excellent again once they start mowing them closer. The customer service was excellent. The guy in the pro shop advised us on which was the better deal to utilize for the best value, which was much appreciated. Nice snack stand out on the course. Good layout, fairly wide open, enough trees/lakes/OB to keep you honest. Five sets of well spaced tees, so pick the ones that fit your game best. Recommended = yes, nearly everything about this course was above to well above average.

I played today on the FREE Birthday golf, cart fee $15. The course was in nice condition, though we had a good rain yesterday. Fairways where soft, but allowed to drive on them. the rough is cut low and playable. Some of the sand bunkers did have some standing water, so the bunkers where firm, but not bad. The greens rolled really nice and true. a little slow in the morning ( early holes) but dried nicely. A must play, especially on YOUR birthday!

Played 9-12-15 mid morning as a single in a little over 4 hours which was very surprising for a Saturday. Course is probably in the best shape I have seen it in, in a long time. Tee boxes were mostly level and lush with a few exceptions on the three pars. Fairways were very nice with a few thin spots but overall in good shape. Rough was cut pretty low and not much of a factor. Sandtraps have nice white fluffy sand. Greens were in very nice shape rolling smooth with medium speed.

I had a 1:00 GN Hot Deal for $32 out here today, arrived a little early and was sent to the tee by myself around 12:30. Midway through the first hole, I was joined by a twosome. The three of us played behind two slow fivesomes all day and finished in just over five hours. Pretty frustrating POP because we were fairly certain if the two fivesomes let us play through there were a lot of open holes ahead. Conditions are decent to good, highlighted by the greens. They are mostly smooth, although they have way too many unrepaired ball marks. They are soft and the ball stops quickly. Fairways are mostly good, although a few have some thin spots here and there. Rough was pretty lush. The tee boxes are wildly inconsistent, from terrible at the 6th hole to terrific at the 11th, with mixed conditions from one hole to the next. Sand in the bunkers was good but not as wonderful as last time I played here. I've always loved this course and today was no different. They have added wood chip areas to reduce turf, and I noticed the four trees David mentioned in the last review on No. 8. When they grow up, that will become a very difficult tee shot. Played the South Course with my monthly group early Saturday morning, 8/1/15, at 8:45am on a clear, hot day. Greens are great, although they vary from fairly thin to very lush, but all held shots and rolled great at medium-fast speed. Fairways were also very good, with the ball sitting up nicely in most cases. Rough could be bare, short, or lush, but generally very playable. Sand was raked and adequate but damp and heavy. Tees were OK. The course lost a lot of trees a few years back, but wayward shots can still find tree trouble. [And please - who put those 4 trees in the middle of the driving area on #8??!!] Wind came up in your face on 13, as usual. POP on a tourney Saturday was about 5 hours, as expected. Recommended.
