Played the Blues (6315/70.5/127) with RGM2525 as a 2some in 3.5 hours using Underpar. The weather was chilly when we teed off but had warmed up to 60ish by the time we finished, partly cloudy with little wind. We followed 2 regulars who walked and rarely waited a shot the entire round. The tees were fairly level with good grass. However, many were fairly torn up and needed divot repair. The fairways were winter thin with adequate coverage with relatively few unfixed divots. The rough was also winter thin and not overly penal except for sporadic areas of lost ball rough. The sand was generally good, well maintained with nice sand. The greens were inconsistent. Most were medium fast and fairly smooth. A couple were medium slow and downright bumpy. They held well struck approach shots well but you could also bump n run balls onto them, which I liked. Fun course in decent winter condition. I liked the layout, numerous fun holes plus several demanding ones. The customer service was excellent, especially Gary in the Pro Shop. No drink cart out today, but there are adequate water stations on the course. Recommended = Yes, I would play here often if I lived closeby.

Just got done playing Woods Valley today. The golf course is in great shape. It looks like the cold weather and the frost has moved the course into its dormant stage. There were a few divots on Par 3's and some of the fairways, but its hard to grow grass to fill them in, when its so cold. Almost every course I've played lately is the same, but Woods Valley has been much better than the rest. POP was great, right at 4 hours. Do yourself a favor and go play Woods Valley.

Played today 1/14/16. Lumpy, un-level, divot filled tee boxes. When standing at tees, you can feel the divots. Fairways is back to the pre-tribal condition. Really poor shape with bare spots with grasses which does not appear that they intend to have. Many divots in landing areas. Greens overall good with some bumps. Sand traps good. Overall....not in very good shape tee to green except for the putting surface. which is ok.

Played here today 12/29/15. Was pleasantly surprised how well the shape of the course was in. Lots of courses around it are in pretty bad shape with fairways being dry and hard. These fairways were in really descent shape for time of year. No complaints about greens except some hackers do not know how to fix ball marks. Seems like new owners are trying to take care of course and I think all golfers (good and bad) should do their part by fixing divots in fairways and fixing ball marks on greens. Round took 5 hours to play but had a slow group of 4 in front of us. I will be coming back for sure. Sand was not bad. A little wet but not bad at all. Still able to splash ball out pretty easy. I would rate course easy 7 out of 10.

Greens in good to very good shape. A couple bumps noticed but were receptive with a good pace
at medium fast. #14 still pretty rough but the rest were fine.
I enjoy the layout of this course with a fun mix of hole design.

Love playing this course every time I can. Great rural setting with a lot of nice views and very quiet - reminds me somewhat of Cross Creek in Riverside county. The tee boxes were the only real negative we noticed. They had not been watered and were slightly firm, but still very playable. The fairways were nice as were the traps I found myself in. The greens were in great shape also. Pace of play was not bad for a weekend morning - we finished in about four and half hours. The staff here is great - especially the starter! Definitely recommended!!

played here 9/11 and 9/14 with under par $30 voucher. 900 am got out early both days pop under 4hr because there was hardly any one there like having a private club with only a handful of members. great conditions fairways are lush never a bad lie, greens consistent medium fast, and the rough looked light but was fairly punitive lost distance and around the green presented a challenge. good variety of holes and many have great character. bring your gps as the distance markers are hard to find thats really the only negative to report
