Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!Played 11/3/24 10:10 POP 4.5 hrs Course is in very good to great shape. Fairways have very good coverage and mostly green. They are cut pretty tight and required good ball stricking. Very good roll out and they played well. Greens were in mostly great shape. Receptive and rolled at a medium pace. Noticed a few balls take noticeable bumps and hops. Rough was a mix of clumpy grass. From thin and clumpy to thick and clumpy. You can have a good lie or a shity lie. Traps in fair shape. They all have the same course sand/ DG mix in them, so at least they are consistent. Most on the firm side. Driving range small and a little on the ragged side. It had been a while since playing here, and it did not disappoint. A fun and challenging course with a great mix of hole designs and in good to great shape.
Played 10/20/24 12:30 POP 4:30 Was in the area on business and had never played here. Course was a mix of conditions. Some fairways and or sections of fairways were in great shape. While others were not. All had mostly good coverage. Some thin with a mix of clumpy grass and other parts perfect. Greens were the same. Some great, some not so much. All were very slow and bumpy from past aeration remnants. Greens have some pretty big contours in them. These greens would be very tough if ever in firm & fast conditions. Everything still very playable, just inconsistent and a mix of playing conditions. Was in a couple of traps and they were in good shape. Many tees are uneven with small teeing areas. A fun & interesting layout with elevated tee box's or steep up hill holes. Driving rang small with those weird small range balls. Very small chipping/ putting green that was in not so good shape. In playable condition and worth a look if in the area.
Played 10/13/24 7:30. First time playing with new Fairways and greens. Leisurely pace of just under 4 hrs with no one behind and one group ahead Everything is firm. Fairways have great coverage. Very good roll out and played fantastic. There are some very small and minor spots with thin coverage where grass hasn't filled completely filled in. Greens were very firm. They rolled smooth and true at medium fast pace. Very fast down grain and down hill. Traps and tees in great shape. New carts with GPS. Even a over head view of the greens with color coded topo showing slopes. Great warm up areas with Titleist balls and range finders at each station. Over all the course was back how it originally played. Even with a hot deal it's still very pricey but in fantastic shape. Was told by fellow player that for the rest of this month it is free replay, but did not confirm.
Played 10/4/24 11:40 $99. Pop 4:40. Course is in over all very good to great condition. Much greener than I expected. Fairways are full and I will say lush, but on the dry side. Ball sits really nicely and are great to hit off. Rough and little thick, but mostly under the ball. Made it a little difficult to compress the ball. Which really comes into play on the greens. They are in great shape. On the firm side so only well struck shots had any stopping power. It doesn't appear they had been aerated as noted above. I don't know if they had a FU tournament before us or if the pin setter was just mean, because the pins were in really difficult spots right above and on break over. These greens are the real thing and are difficult all by them selves. Course was busy on this hot Oct. day in the low 100's. Looking forward to some cooler autumn days because the course is playing very well. Easy recommend.
Played 9/28/24 10:40 $149. Course was in over all great condition. Fairways lush, cut a little tight, but the ball sat nicely and they played great. Not a lot of roll out on some, great on others. Great coverage with no big issues noticed anywhere. Greens were great. Ran quick and true, mostly firm, but well struck shots would stop. Breaks are subtle and often hard to pick out. Traps and tees in very good to great shape. A wonderful and fun layout. It really wants you to play a variety of shots that keeps you ingaged the whole round. This is a course you could play multiple times and not be bored and even enjoy it more each time. Really Beautiful scenery especially right now with the fall foliage starting to pop. An easy recommend if any where near.
Played 9/14/24 10:30 POP 5:15 Course is in decent to good condition. Fairways mostly green with a hodgepodge mix of grass. Some bare and GIR areas mixed through out. You can get good lies and bad lies in the middle of the fairway. Greens were in decent shape. Some blooming Poana caused some wobbly rolls. Receptive and ran at a medium pace. Practice green was really fast, course greens about half the speed. A very busy and slow pace day. Green fees a little on the steep side for what you're getting, but the course is in good enough shape to have fun.
Played 8/17/24 11:40 POP 4:05. Course remains in over all very good to great shape. The two exceptions are the Tees & traps. The tees have always been a difficult part of the course to maintain from the above average use of irons off most of the tees. They are in some of the worst shape I've ever seen them. Often difficult not only to find a somewhat level stance, but to even find a small patch of grass to hit from. Many of the traps are hard packed dirt. It's really unfortunate, because the rest of the course is in very good shape. Fairways mostly lush with good roll and very nice to hit off. Greens in very good to decent shape. Receptive, but a little bouncy on some rolls at a medium pace. Summer has caused a few trouble spots along a couple green fringes, but most are in good shape. Pace of play was good and temps were warm, but decent. I love the mountain feel of this course and the scenery, so If you can deal with difficult tees the course is still a good recommend.
Played 7/20/24 7: 30 am Course is overall in really good shape. Fairways green and mostly lush. A few thin areas and bare spots, but mostly lush, decent roll and very nice to hit from.
Greens were in great shape. An occasional sick or area under repair, but mostly in great shape. receptive and ran around medium pace. Traps & tees are the typical week spot.
Easy recommend.

Played 6/15/24 1:40 POP 4:10 $99. The course is in overall great shape. Definitely on the dry side, but playing very well. Fairway's green with good roll and good coverage. A little on the dry & tight side, but still very nice to hit from. Greens here can be the challenge of the course. They were in great shape. Very firm, only perfectly struck shots had any stopping power, so you need to play for some roll out. And DO NOT short side your self. I still love the new green complex's. They were running a little on the slow side. They look fast, but ran at a medium pace. Bunkers & tees in good shape. No cart service. Temps were warm, but not too bad. Easy Recommend!
Played 4/20/24 2 pm $78. POP 4:15. Greens have mostly recovered from punching. No sand and only faint hole punches. Putts ran well with only an occasional bounce. Medium speed, but still a challenge with the slope of the greens. Fairway's in decent shape. Lots of coverage and a little on the shaggy side, but played fine. Rough was a little thicker and caused more issues then they appear they will. Ball tended to settle down in it a touch. Very busy day and pace of play a little slower today. Lots of unrepaired ball marks on the greens. A course you really need to pay attention to the other groups around. Some of the Tees & even greens are in potentials errant shot landing areas. We had a few balls go cruising past us, one on a green while we were putting. Fun course and good one for high handicappers.
Played 4/13/24 8:50 POP 4 hrs. $126. Third time playing this course and I really enjoy it.
It's visually narrow and in some places is narrow. It's the fairways that are cut fairly narrow and can even look more so when the rough is dormant. On this round everything was starting to green up. Rough was a light green in most places and seldom caused any issues. Some areas still dormant & brown. Fairways were in great shape. Emerald green with great coverage. Not as lush as many of the other courses and cut a little tighter, but they offered great roll out and played really nice. Greens were in great shape. Well struck balls would check up, but there was not a mark to be found or made on them. They ran true at a medium slow pace. It took us a few holes to determine that you needed to take out about 50% of what ever break you thought there was. Was not in any traps, but most looked fair, some could use a little TLC. Tee box's all good. Did not see any cart service out. A great addition to any weekend golf outing. Easy recommend.

Played 3-16-24 $85 1 pm. First time playing the South course. Very straight forward parkland style course. Some tree lined fairways, but mostly open. Not many hazards and only one forced carry. Course was in over all good condition. Fairways had very good coverage with a mix of grasses. Some thin areas mixed with clumpy areas, but over all in good condition. Greens were in really good to great shape. On the firm side, putts ran true at a medium pace. Very quick down hill. Many of the greens have some above average slope, making some pin locations tricky. The biggest challenge of the course was the greens and the days pin placement. Saw the cart girl once. Pace was good for a Sat. at 4 hrs. Small driving range off mats. Good chipping and putting areas. Easy walking course. Some of the Tees on the front side are in the landing areas of the tees behind. Awareness is key! Good course for a relaxing day in the sun.
