Played on 5/16 with a friend of mine. Had an 8:44 tee time and got off pretty close to the tee time, maybe a few minutes late, but not bad. Got paired up with two nice singles. Course was in good to great shape.
The tee boxes were all fairly level except on or two holes, and lush.
The fairways were nice a lush, with only a few bad lies. Rough was thin in some places and extremely long in others, but it's supposed to make your shot difficult so whatever.
Was only in one bunker, but it had some nice fluffy sand, and played true.
The greens were excellent, with hardly any ball marks to be found and putted smooth and true. Some were a little faster than others, but they were all in good shape and looked like they had been rolled recently. The carts now have GPS and when compared to Iphone Apps and a SkyCaddie they were within a yard or two. POP was about was a little over 4 hours, but didn't seem like we had to wait on many holes and after getting a dog at the turn and letting the group in front clear we didn't have to wait on a shot. Great time and will be back.

Played with a friend of mine and had a tee time set up for 9:15 for May 2. The course was running about 20 minutes behind, due to the fact that they were sending out twosomes instead of grouping two groups together to make a full foursome.

We got called to the tee and decided to join the group in front of us, who were two very nice guys. Got the round in a little over 4 hours which is a decent POP. The course is mostly made up of short par 4's and has 7 par 3's.

Tee boxes were a little beat up, but with so many par 3's that is understandable, the fairways and rough were in good shape probably 6 or 7 rating. Greens held shots nicely, and were a little slow. However, they still had some sand on them from the recent work, but that should heal nicely in another week or so. Wasn't in the pits, but they looked to be in decent shape.

All in all a good time was had, and being a shorter course, it's nice to play occasionally to get some confidence back. Will return soon.

Played the morning of March 28th with an 8:30 tee time as a twosome. The send people off both nines on weekend mornings and we had the last time before the change. The POP was right around 4.5 hours. There were plenty of groups out, but it was a perfect day so it makes sense.

The greens were fairly soft and held approach shots well, and putted pretty true. The sand was fluffy and played well. The fairways were cut tight, but not hardpan and I didn't notice any brown or thin spots. The tee boxes could be a little more level as there was more than one occasion that I had to move my ball as it felt like I was standing in a little hole, and some of the par 3's had some divots.

Overall the course was in great shape and like others have said, if you play a left to right shot the course can be a little tricky since most holes favor a right to left shot due to tree placement off the tees.

I would return, and had a great time at the course.

Played on February 7 with one of my buddies at 8:50 in the morning. Got out as a twosome. POP was great as we played a casual round without much waiting for the group in front of us except for a couple of shots, and the group behind us no where in site. Took our time as I had only been here once before and it was my friends first time at the course. It is definitely one of those courses where a little course knowledge goes a long way as some of the holes almost require you lot lay up off the tee and you need to know where to place your shots to not be in trouble. The course was in great shape and I found only a couple of tee boxes that I didn't like my stance and felt uneven, but most were in phenomenal condition. The fairways were cut short and gave lots of roll out on your drives, but that is to be expected on a links style course. The greens are large and have multiple swells and again a little course knowledge on where you want to be on the green is a must to score well. They are also extremely firm and I found it hard to stop the ball on them and started to play a little short of the green and just let the ball release worked best for me.

All in all a great time was had and I can't wait to return.

Played on 01/25/15. The wind was really blowing and it effected shots in the air, but not the lower shots or chips. Greens putted true and held shots fairly well. The fairways and rough were in good condition considering the drought. Played out of a couple of bunkers and one was in decent shape with fluffy sand under the ball, the other trap was a little hard for my liking, but not terribly bad. Some of the tee boxes were beat up with divots, but you could find a place to hit from. Overall a good time was had and I plan on heading back with a different group in the near future.

Played yesterday 1/17. First time here since they added the extra holes. Tee boxes were all pretty level and only once did I have a hard time finding a spot that didn't have to many divots. Sand was in great condition. Greens putted sloth and fast. Tough course unless you have been here a coue of times to get some knowledge on how to play the holes and where you want to leave your shots both off the tee and your approach. Fairways were lush and firm but not to the point that it was hardpan. Rough was pretty forgiving. I think a good time was had by all and will probably make another trip out in the future.

Played on Monday 7/7/09 at 7:50. Course was in great shape as usual. Customer service could have been better. Played for a discount card that my wife purchased for me that allows you to play 2 for the price of one. Some discounts on the weekend and others during the week. Asked when I set up my tee time and called again to confirm to make sure I could use the weekday passes and was told the coupon's said nothing about holidays so don't know what the problem with that would be. Showed up and got hassled by the proshop. Eventually let me play using the weekend coupons and was told that it would be implied that holidays are considered weekends. The course was in fantastic shape as always fairways seemed to be a little soft to me, but that could have just been due to the morning conditions. Greens were hard to read today as that some were extremely fast while others were playing to a moderate speed. Great time was had by all and I will be returning in the future.

Course was in great condition. The greens held the ball well during approach shots and putted true. On a couple of the tee boxes (can only comment on white tees) I had to try hard to find a level shot to be able to tee up with my feet not being above or below the ball.

Played on 03/08 and the course was in great shape, probably the best I have ever seen it. As mentioned previously they have added GPS units to the carts. Greens held shots well and putted very fast. Sand was top notch which made it easy to come out off. Only complaint would be that some off the tee boxes are beat up with divots and it was hard to find a level spot to tee off from due to this. Enjoyed the round and will be back again for sure.

Played the course the morning after Christmas with a 7:00 tee time. Called the course on the way due to the ice on the ground in Thousand Oaks as was told they were having a frost delay and to not worry about getting there till closer to 8:00. Upon showing up got checked in and told that the greens were becoming ready to play and that they would be getting groups out shortly in a mini shotgun format so that things wouldn't be slowed down for the groups with later tee times. I thought that was a great idea. They also gave everyone that got delayed a coupon for the snack bar/ restaurant so that showed some great customer service as far as I'm concerned. Once we finally teed off the course was in great shape and seemed to have drained nicely from the weather that we have had lately. Fun layout with some forced carries. I will be back again to play in the future.

Played the course on Saturday morning 8/16 with a 6:52 tee time as a twosome and the starter didn't have anybody playing with us. Finished the round in a little under 4 hours, and for a Sat. morning I was pleased with that. The course was in good shape for the most part however many of the tee boxes weren't level. The one sand trap I was in played very nice. I like the changes made to holes 17 and 18, but think that if something was going to be done wouldn't it have been possible to add some length to the back nine as there are four par 3's. It was a fun round and I will be back, it's a great way to tune up your short game if nothing else without having to go the the local pitch and put.

Played on Sat 4/26 and walked on at about 3:00 with a buddy. No wait and didn't have to much a wait on any of the holes until we got to about 14. Course was in good shape for a LA area muni and the greens looked like they recovered from the aeration nicely. They were really firm and I had trouble locating any of my ball marks and couldn't really see any others on the greens either. Only complaint would be the traps and not from people not raking after their shots but from the geese and whatever other creatures they have on the course the traps had footprints all over them and it made it tough to play out of especially when you went into a footprint from a larger animal (Dog or something). Other than that it was a fun round and felt good to get out after my 4 month layoff.
