Played on super bowl sunday with an early tee time. After reading some past reviews, I've come to the conclusion that there is some bias.If they were playing say Cresta Verde, a fair priced coarse they would drag it through the mud but since its Eagle Glen its only winter conditions. The fairways are just crap. When our group plays a real budget coarse we play improve your lie even if it takes a 10 foot walk, cause you still have to make the shot.We should have played that way at Eagle Glen.I will only play there at a very discounted price. My 2 cents

Three things about Hidden Valley. Great greens, hard pan bunkers and the worst tee boxes I have ever played on.

Again the staff at Summerly were outstanding. With a hour or so delay due to frost everyone had a level head and tried hard to get the many golfers out,and there were a few that were pretty rude about the situation.my hats of to the starter Kathy who took the brunt of rude players with a smile and calm order. The course is the same pretty good shape with the tight lies and smooth greens.Oh one more thing, lunch is a must there.

Played Sunday the 4th,other than the 40 minute delay due to the frost it was a great day of sunshine and little wind to speak of.Super service, the best information from any starter, which was to allow 20 to 30 yards of run from the tee due to the fast fairways. No brown fairways here but a lot of tight lies.Greens were pretty fast and even though they looked bumpy they rolled pretty true and people are doing a decent job of repairing their ball marks which in the past was real bad.The best part is the free round our group received though an e-mail special. I'll be back.

I too played on sat. the 14 th but teed off at 7:22 like evildrummerhb said this place is a must play for anyones list. I gage every course i play by the perfect condition of the classic club in december, I give this place a 9, the greens were perfect in the way they held shots and rolled. For the added bonus our cart (which are gas powered) didn t have the limit switch working was able to go 30 mph plus, now thats speed golf

tee off at 2:30 on weds the 4th,the conditions are much improved ,fairways 80 % green and the greens were half punched a few weeks ago and rolling nice, no one in front for a 3 hr and 15 min round,oh did I say it was all for !5 bucks on golf now.At that price its better than any time at the driving range

Played on sat. the 16th. Could'nt ask for a better day.The fairways were average, the rough were average, but the bunkers are perfect the purest and whitest sand ever. The greens are firm very smooth and fast.the layout is quite intresting and not very long. But for the money their asking to play here not again, when you have palm springs in your back yard with world class courses and conditions I'll go there

played on friday the 31 st, very wet condition from recent rains as expected but at 27 deg. at 7 am they had a 2 hr frost delay. A real bummer but the breakfast at the grill there was great. These are the fastest ,smoothest and ball mark free greens I have played in a long time.Very nice

Played on tuesday the 23, its always had a different look to me i guess cause your playin in and out of the riverbed, real soft from the recent rains,a lot of long par 3"s which makes for a fun time, nice people working there and great food at the turn without gouging your wallet, one thing for sure the greens were soft and slow but I can t remember playing anywhere that didn t have ball mark damage like this place I fixed only 3 extra makes the entire day, The people are either courteous or just never hit the green, anyway ill go back when it dries up a bit

Ok, after many bad and very bad write ups I still made a try on Sunday the 31.It wasn t the best conditions but most all the areas are showing fast improvments,my friend made a comment "they would have more money for manintanace on the course if they didn t spend it on all the ropes marking the course for grounds under repair".One thing i can say is they have the BEST greens i ve seen and played on in many months, fast and smoooth.I may be partial cause I just like the lay out so much.

Played on sunday the 17th,at 9:30 it was wide open. Had a single tee time at 10 but let me out with a 2some and another single. The course is in absolutly good shape but i can agree with some other reveiws about ball marks on the greens, they asked to fix another mark along with yours but ended up fixing 3 to 4 on every hole ,.not their fault.I just don t know why people cant fix their marks ,oh well they still rolled true.Had a great day and looking forward to coming back real soon
