Played on 4/20. Perfect day and great golf. Service was excellent. From the greeting to the clubhouse after. Course was in very good condition and getting better. High level of play but they take great care of it and it shows. Pace was very good, and beverage service was frequent. Greens are shaping up where in a few weeks they will be perfect! Challanging holes from all tee boxes. Be careful to not bite off more than you can chew! Pick the right tee box and you will have a great time.

Greens have not quite healed yet. Another week or so. Course is a bit thin and needs attention. I'm sure they will bring it back to what it is very soon after the greems come around. I've always liked both these courses and will be back to check up on it soon.

A fun course that's in very good shape. Greenskeeper says they have punched the greens but not til next month. Play it now! Greens are overall very nice and challenging. A bit bumpy but roll true and very fun. Pace of play is the issue here! Always hurry up and wait golf! Makes it difficult to concentrate. Price is right, and that's probably the reason why?

Played here last Sunday, right after rains, so some areas and traps were not at their best. Regardless, a great place to play with as much challange depending on thw tees you pick. Alot of risk/reward shots and fast greens. Very fast! I highly reccommend this coursew, and if you're a SCGA member the rates are discounted, making in well worth it! Staff was very good and attentive and reasonable prices for eats.

The Old General was the usual. Haven't seen a review on this course recently, therefore here goes. Great course! Fairways need help but greens are very nice. Plays very different between Blue's and White's, so a few rounds give you a very different experience. Surprisingly tough from the Blues! Great rates and not crowded, and snack bar is good and very reasonable. Great staff! Worth playing it for sure. I was plesantly surprised and I reccommend it for something fun and different.

Great course. In fairness to this course, the fairways, rough, and tee boxes have dormant grass, so it is a bit ugly, but plays excellent. It is truly a thinking course because of the hazards and overall design. Pot bunkers, creeks, washes, water, hidden trouble all make for a very fun round with your thinking cap on. The greens are lightning fast, and will be even better when they heal 100% from the punching they did. I highly reccommend this course. I also highly reccommend getting the course info guide to help see your way thru it. The staff is very good and service is excellent!

Played Sunday morning. As usual, a great track for an OC muni course! Always fun to play as you must think before your shots. Were slowed up by the group in front of us, and pushed by the group behind us, but it was a beautiful day. Course overall was in very good shape. Sand traps need a little help though. Greens were in excellent shape and as the frost and dew left the greens, they became very fast, making those subtle breaks even more challanging. I would reccommend this course to anyone, and with all different player levels. Fun for all.

A great track. Course conditions are excellent, for even more than the price you pay. Water features are plentifull and the course layout makes you think about your next shot. Challanging but rewarding when you play well. Both courses here are ones I would reccommend. A bit off the beaten path, but well worth it, with the pace of play, condition, and service.

Always a good course when you can get on. Course is in good shape, and greens are putting true. Pace of play seems to be watched a bit more, as I have noticed it has been much better lately.

Played here New Years Eve. Way over priced! Service was aweful, and made our group feel very unwelcome. They were doing us a favor by letting us play there. The starter was too busy getting his buddies out and joking around with them. Just told us what cart to put our bags on when we were next up, and pointed to the 1st tee. We waited on 16 holes, with some of them being 8 to 10 minutes! Tee of was 11:10 and finished at 4:40. Never a marshal, even after we asked the cart girl to get on out. We only saw her twice! Course condition was okay for a muni course but for over $100...no way! And you think you would get a small bag of balls, but that's another $6.
The best service was the bartender! Sorry, I try to be nice and impartial with my reviews, but this place does not deserve it!!!

Played on Dec 30 and even with the crowds of that holiday week, it was a great round with no delays. This is an excellent course! Yes, a bit pricy, but for the area and the upscale courses, it's a bargain for what you get and how you are treated! All was in excellent shape, service was excellent, no waiting on any hole and I highly reccommend it.

A nice course to play any time. Great weather and conditions were excellent for a Sunday morning. Pace of play was very good. Conditions were very good. You could see where they punched the greens but healing very well. In about 2 weeks, it will be excellent. A bit of a drive for me but worth it with my friends and course conditions.
