Played Oakcreek on 3/23/21. The Golf course was in excellent shape. I was the cold week and it snowed on us on the par 3 number 4. Challenging holes and every shot is scenic. Rough is not bad and traps are fluffy. Would love to play it more if I lived closer. If your a single player its $125 but if you use their internet special if you have 2 golfers its only $97.50 per golfer. Well worth the rate either way! Enjoy an I cannot wait to be back

Was invited by a guest to play at the club on Sunday. Beautiful day and conditions. For being a private club a little disappointed in the condition of the course. Many areas/fairways were ground under repair, dry, no grass/bare spots. Course is pretty straight. Tee boxes and greens we excellent. Customer service was awesome. Played here years ago and was very lush not the same. Overall the course is fun and a lot of history.

WOW! beautiful day at Ram's Hill with a great friends! Course was in fantastic shape, weather was a perfect low 70's with a light breeze. Greens were hard and fast, I had 6 birdie looks and only got 1 of them. That's a testament to how tough the greens played rolling at a 12!
Tees: Amazing better than my carpet in my house
Fairways: perfect
Rough: short
Bunkers: fluffy . . .
Greens: hard and fast . . . they seem to get harder as the day went on, but also seemed to slow down ever so slightly
POP: Waited a couple of holes as group in front had a new golfer but overall great pace.
Customer service: "Top notch!" From the time you enter the gate until you leave you are treated very, very well by a friendly, helpful and professional staff
Restaurant: ordered 2 breakfast burritos as we arrived at 8 am after travelling 2 hours and our tee time was at 8:39 am. A bit pricey never paid $35 for 2 burritos that weren't very big.
Overall: If you haven't been to Ram's Hill you really need to get out there!

. . . and oh yeah, don't forget about the caramel apple cookie you get after the round AMAZING

Played Steele Canyon on my 50th B-day Feb 5th, check in was quick and easy. When we arrive we were very concerned as the parking lot was full and had to park on the street. We played the Canyon/Vineyard combo. We got off on time and was surprised that we finished our round in less than 4.5 hours after being so busy. We never waited on a tee box and moved along. Disappointed in the beverage cart people as they came to us on the 2nd hole and never saw them again until the 18th hole. The course, although not plush green from wall to wall, played excellent, great lies on nice fairways with some run out. Rough was minimal but made you take notice. We were informed that any flower beds were a free drop but the course card said differently. Bunkers were firm. The greens were in great condition, firm but accepting of well struck shots, rolling very smooth, fast in spots, tricky to read, just what your would expect from a decent course! Layout keeps you interested with some tough holes and nowhere you can coast. Course knowledge is a plus as there are some hidden features that you can't quite see from the tee.

Played Rancho Bernardo Inn on Feb 3, 2021 and was very pleased. The course in in immaculate shape and condition. Some challenging holes. A lot of houses surround the course making challenging for a inexperienced golfer. For the rate of $61 which is very fair and for the condition of the course well worth it. Pace of play was perfect as we did not wait on any tee box. Would love to play here again. After paying $125 and black Gold in Yorba Linda I wasted my money, RBI is a much better course.

12/26/20 Played Coronado in San Diego day after Christmas in prime conditions Sunny and warm. Coronado is one of the best courses in San Diego it still remains one of the best values anywhere. The course conditions are excellent for a municipal course that gets non-stop play. The greens were in great shape and the fairways were generally very lush. Some of the tee boxes (particularly on the par 3s) had problems (lots of divots--a bit uneven), but overall, this is a fun course with great views.

1/15/21 all right value for $48. Golf course is open to all even though its a military course and reasonable rates. Course has a few challenging holes and some easy ones. Wide fairways give forgiveness on most holes. Not a lot trouble not many water features but some beautiful views. Saw couple of deer while driving away from the course. Overall condition of the course is average. The fairways and rough is very dry and a lot of dirt.

1/7/21 Played Santa Luz (Private). Practice facility and range was spectacular. Very challenging course with many bunkers. Pace of play was on point not having to wait in-between shots. Greens, fairways and tee boxes were in prime condition. Views are breath taking of ocean on some holes to canyons. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Overall well worth the money.

1/17/21 Black Gold Golf Club. The conditions were tough check in was easy. The golf carts very comfortable. Range balls were included with the green fee. teed off at 10:40 am tee and our round lasted 5 hours. They had had a tournament earlier in the day in which made the round longer and waited many time between tee boxes.

The layout of this course is very challenging, hitting in the fairway is a must if you want to shoot a decent score. This is not a course for learning how to play like the few groups in front of us. Lots of canyons and trouble on each side of the fairways. The overall condition of the course was a bit disappointing for paying $125 for the round. The greens were very nice .
