Played on 4/22 morning. Was packed as expected and got out about 20 minutes late. Played as a 5some and finished the round in a little over 5 hours which was actually better than expected. Fairways and teeboxes were in pretty good shape. The greens seemed a bit inconsistent hole to hole, but were rolling pretty nicely. Three sand traps that I was in were all different. All in all, was playing with buddies and enjoyed the round.

Played on 3-25-12 in a L.A. County Golf Tournament. Course was pretty good. Played at a good pace. The tee boxes were decent, some were not level, but overall o.k. Fairways were thin and played really fast. Everything usually funneled unto the middle of the fairway. The greens were really receptive and fast. Unfortunately, I can tell you that the bunker sand was really thin( especially in the 5 bunkers that I was in.). Overall a nice course.

Played 3/16 went off the waiting list at 7:15am not bad since the sun comes up at 6:50am. Course was in great shape from tee to greens traps had perfect amount of sand I just wish people would rake the traps here and fix divots. played 18 in 4 hours.

Played here for the first time in almost a year. Teed off at 6:30 as this course used to play extremely slow. Surprisingly the round went really quickly, finishing in 4 hours. The course was in good condition for this time of year. The fair ways still had grass on them, and were only thin in a few separate spots. The greens were fast for how cold and moist it was out there. Overall it was a good round as it seems that the earlier you get out, the better the pace of play will be.

The course is in decent condition for winter. The greens are in good condition but bumpy at times. The fairways and rough are on the thin side due to winter but very playable. The tee boxes are fair to good with a few not level. The bunkers have good quality sand but can be thin. The course is on the short side but the small medium/fast greens provide some challenge. It is an enjoyable course with rolling terrain. La Mirada is a busy course. So if you want to play in less than 5 hours tee off early. I teed off on Wednesday at 7:15 as a fivesome and finished in 4hrs 10min.

I played Wed. 28th . It was a 5 hour round . The greens where very good . The speed on the greens was medium/fast . Didn't see very many divots on the greens . " Good job Golfers ." The fairways were cut thin and had lots of divots everywhere . The sand traps looked okay , I stayed out of them so I don't know what they were like . It's a fairly easy course to play and the price right . If your going to play here , expect a long day.

Haven't played here in years and had forgotten how crazy packed this place can get. I had a tee time for 6:22 (the official sunrise for the day was around 7:00 a.m.) thinking the place would be empty. By 6:15, in darkness - no exaggeration - the first tee had a fivesome already out and two groups waiting on the first tee. They were sending people on the 10th hole as well (split tees since there was a shotgun @ 1:00) and there was a fivesome teeing off. UNBELIEVABLE. You couldn't see anything until around 6:35 (barely visible). Granted, these fivesomes played FAST, especially considering that most of them were seniors with pull carts. I talked to some folks and they told me this is quite the norm for county courses.

The staff (starter, marshall, restaurant cook, etc.) were friendly and the golfers really kept up the pace. That said, with so many fivesomes out everywhere, the course just looked and felt like it was overloaded.

Half the greens are punched; the other half was REALLY soft. Pin placements were literally 4-5 fee from the edge on some greens.

Not a bad course, but was a bit too crazy to enjoy this time around.

surprised at how wide open the course was on a sunday morning. tee time was originally set for 11, ended up going out at 10:30, never saw a group in front. we did have a 4 some catch up to us (we had 5) but we stayed ahead as much as we could and I think we only caused them to wait on one tee box.

course was in good condition, except for a few damp/muddy spots. rough was cut pretty low which was good for me since alot of those side of the hill lies would have been much harder if it was deep also.

First time playing here. Played twilight - 9 holes. Not a bad little course in La Mirada/Fullerton area. Easy to get on. One thing about this course is although it is a wide open course it is visually narrow. Do not be fooled. What you see is not necessarily going to hurt you just choose a line -- not an aggressive one, stick to it and you will be fine. Greens VERY BUMPY. Seems like they water it quite a bit. Course is VERY green also. Mature trees line the holes. It's hilly but very walkable. Greens as I said are bumpy, not very fast just medium in speed. Bunkers stocked OK. Fairways green. Rough is sticky. That Kikuyu grass will grab at your club especially around the greens. So prepare yourself to really hit down and through on your shots around the green to get the ball to fly up and over the junk. Pace of play was good for twilight. Finished 9 holes with plenty of light to spare (around 1 more hour of light left.) I like the course. Was impressed with the facility. Good place to hit the ball b/c nothing can really hurt you.
