Played as a work foursome, all of us first timers to goose creek. 11:45 tee off, 4:15 finish. POP was much worse for first two holes, something or someone had it all backed up, but the Marshall fixed that! Kudos to the mashall staff! Very nice facility, all course elements in good shape and get a 7 or higher out of 10. Highly recommend this course for playing in the inland empire. Good value. Cheers, I do not like the cart scorecard...no overhead per-hole diagram showing bunkers and other things of interest. I will either purchase a yardage book, or begin my own for this track.

Played Wed. 1/1 at 7:42 with a couple friends and a single who was paired with us. POP was right at 4 hours with two riders & two walkers. The course is in very good shape, even with the cold mornings. Tees were all level and had good coverage. Fairways were great too. Greens were firm, but smooth and rolled true. I only hit one fairway bunker, but sand was very good. We always enjoy Goose Creek and will be back sometime in 2020.

Played Wednesday, 12/11. Teed off at 8:10 and finished in 4:20. The round today took a little longer than normal due to cart path only. As Andrew1 pointed out the large amount of rain the previous week has left the course soft in spots. The greens are in very good condition rolling with medium/fast speed. The fairways had good coverage with a few winter thin spots. The rough had good coverage and was toward the thick side. The bunkers were good but were a little compacted due to the recent rains. The tee boxes were good. Goose typically has the most consistently good conditions year round. Fun track with great practice facilities. The staff has always been friendly.

Played this morning and was a little bit disappointed. It would be Cart Path all day. Seems that its been cart path only for the past 4 days because of the rains we had. The Sun really hasn't be out to dry the fairways so because of that the Course hasn't been able to dry up as they would like it too. But the Greens were pretty good and so was most of the bunkers. Fairways were still damp from the rains and very soggy conditions in some areas. I think as much as I didn't like cart paths today I think the Course made the right move because it wouldn't take but a few carts to damage the fairways. Everything else was top notch. If you plan on playing "Goose creek" soon, call to see if they are still having Cart Path only.

Played Saturday morning. Course is still recovering in some places after the recent aerafication. Especially the greens. Greens are still a bit bumpy but lighting fast. Fairways are coming around very well and so is some of the tee boxes. Just wished some players would fill in their Divots. Driving range is also looking fairly well. Customer Service at check in was a bit out of their norm. Sense a little rudeness coming from the starter at the pro shop. He must of been having a bad day. Practice area is coming around very well.

As the previous Goose Creek review states the course is still in recovery mode. Played 11/13 and the fairways are still fairly thin in a lot of areas. Two holes are still cart path only. The rough is very long for this course, three to four inches of fluffy grass lets your ball disappear instantly, even only a foot off of the fairway. The traps were in very good condition with plenty of well raked sand. The greens were okay but seemed a bit slower than normal. Well worth playing. But still needs some time.

Played Tues Oct 29th at 715, we walk so being cart path only was no issue for us. It did result in a slow POP of 4:19 minutes, the group in front of us was not very quick. Goose recently opened after reseeding, IMHO it is still a month away from good conditions. Tee boxes and fairways had new grass growing but very thin and long, like it was too new to cut, was not in any bunkers but they looked like dirt and hard. Greens still had holes and were very slow and bouncy. Still a fun course but it heeds to recover.

Played Goose Creek as my 2nd round on 8/26, after a daybreak round at Oak Quarry. While OQ is a full service facility, Goose gives you the other extreme - very little service on a great course. The only people I saw working was the guy in the clubhouse and the beverage cart.

Course is in real nice shape for mid-summer, maybe just a notch below Quarry, but still better than most. Greens are smooth, softer than I have experienced here in the past. Fairways are nice. Rough is generally good. Nothing I can complain about for course conditions.

We zipped around the front 9 in 1:45. Then hit the brick wall on #10. Took us 1:30 to make it to #14 with 1 or 2 groups on every tee box. The heat and 31 holes had started to wear me down, so I called it a day and headed home.

Really nice course as always at Goose Creek, but based on my last few trips here, it looks like the course is no longer hidden and unknown. The masses have found it, and they were all playing on the back 9.
