Played yesterday @ 9 am as part of Underpar special.

Greens were fast and firm and rolled very true with little ball marks. The marshall did a great job of keeping up pace of play. Customer service was prompt and attentive. We played in 4 hours. Fairways were in good shape for the most part with a few holes suffering from the hot heat. The fairway bunkers were horrible condition and many of them filled with water. Greenside bunkers were in average condition. Enjoyed the unique layout of holes and will return soon!

Agree with most everything shebylo said. Greens were holding well and rolling at medium speed. Tees, fairways (still overwatered in spots), and rough were all green and lush, although the rough was definitely getting long and nasty. Probably around 2-4". Ball would settle down making anything more than a 7 iron quite challenging to hit out of. Bunkers were Jekyll and Hyde. Greenside were fantastic. Fairway bunkers might as well have been GUR. No sand and so many rocks and pebbles that we decided it wasn't even worth the potential damage to our clubs to hit out of them.

Personally I think the Legends is more challenging than the Champions side. Slightly tighter off the tee, more bunkers, and more undulation in the greens. Greens were running at a nice medium speed and held shots well. POP was close to 5 hours due to a slower 4some several groups ahead. Saw the marshall but obviously it did not make much difference with the pace.

Very good conditions, mostly, with a great layout and good facilities and service always are delivered here at Morongo.

Very good conditions, mostly, with a great layout and good facilities and service always are delivered here at Morongo.
Both of us teed off at 0820 between fours, and kept a good pace finishing 1245. Everything is lush and green, with lots of watering targeted at fairways and rough. Maybe a touch too much water??? As there are many soft areas and some casual water – maybe a morning thing only? Black, Blue & Red Tees fine, fairways and rough (2”) good with some bare areas too. Fairway bunkers mostly gravel; green side bunkers very good sand. Approaches, collars and greens all manicured nicely and very lush. Greens smooth but a bit slow, but soft and holding well. Loved the design. Good drinks cart attendance, lots of water stations, good marshaling. Be aware Legends does NOT turn at the clubhouse. Definitely worth a look.

Purchased a underpar voucher for 35 dollars for unlimited rounds on weekdays and used it today. Haven't play this course since it was called pga of Southern California(about 8 years). I love this course. Conditions are usually good to great, customer service is terrific and the facilities is top notch. Played early morning and had alittle fog problem through the first 3 holes. After that, I really enjoyed the day. Played 18 on the legends and 18 on the champions in about 5 hours. I think I like the legends side better than the champions due to no houses that is visible.

Wow. What a great track. I had a terrific time at Tukwet Canyon. The proshop staff was very friendly, and the course is in great shape. The fairways and rough were excellent.

Wow. What a great track. I had a terrific time at Tukwet Canyon. The proshop staff was very friendly, and the course is in great shape. The fairways and rough were excellent.

A couple bunkers had small pools of water, but fortunately I didn't end up in any. The bunkers I did end up in were fluffy, and playable. The course is letting the grass on the tee boxes grow out. The tee boxes were a bit hairy, but flat.

GKers also need to know that there was sand on every green. Surprisingly the greens were still fairly fast, and rolled pretty true.

BE CAREFUL OF RATTLESNAKES.

I can't wait to play this course again after it's fully healed.

Played Saturday morning at 10am, finished at 2...you gotta love a 4hr round. I have now played this course twice and it is my favorite course within driving distance I have played. I love the layout of the Legends course. The rough is very high and thick. You simply MUST hit the fairway or pay the piper. Greens were fantastic, bunkers were full of fluffy sand. Driving range is perfect, I would say the only issue is lack of restrooms, cart service could be more frequent. I suggest bringing your own snacks to avoid risk of starving on the course.

The course is in fabulous shape except for the greens which are very slow. Hopefully, they can speed the greens up! Great track to play!!!

Played this morning at 10:20am, first time on this course. This course is tournament ready condition...aka TOUGH!, rough is thick and long. Bunkers are very fluffy, maybe too much so. Played the blues and found it to be more challenging than the 128 slope indicates. The Course itself is stunning, first class from tee to green. They should call this the mountain course, it is very scenic. Driving Range is very nice as well, and as a tip, before you buy range balls, look out to the range and see if there are balls left behind. We bought a large bucket and hit maybe 1-2 balls from it, there were that many left out on the range. Worth the 1.5 hour drive from Lake Forest. Wife and I will probably get out there again this year to play this course.

Played 3/13/13 @ 10a w/the RD birdy savings card. Not very windy at all. Course is getting ready to aerate so they're letting the greens get a little bushy. Putts are really slow right now, but I can imagine them when they're finished. A lot of undulations on the greens with some funky breaks that were very deceiving. Sand traps were really fluffy, spoke to a lawnmower guy & he said they just put new sand in all of them. Fairways were bushy too, but I didn't mind. No hard pan anywhere on the course!!! Rough wasn't too long & easy to get out of. Tee boxes were really good and level. The conditions of the course today was awesome! I'd love to come here more often, it's a little far.
