First off at 6am on what was supposed to be a very windy morning, but luckily the winds never arrived. We finished just prior to 8:30am, and it appeared the winds were on their way. Thanks to the shop/starter for getting us out first and right on time.

Course was in overall nice condition. Greens were receptive and rolled well. Good coverage on the fairways. The only issue I had was that the greenside bunkers were all soaked. They might be better later in the day, but for us, way too mushy.

It's been a while since I played here, and noticed immediately the trees which were removed on hole #6. While I generally hate any time they remove trees, I think in this instance it makes it a better hole. Much more fair ! Glen Ivy is a fun track to play, with some interesting holes. Always so much fun to finish with such a spectacular hole.

Played 5/28 with a 7:12 tee time and got out about 10 minutes early. Was paired with a twosome of nice guys. Most tee boxes had good coverage and mostly level. One par three was very thin where they had the white tees but they could have been moved a little to better area. Most of the fairways are really nice. A couple had some brown/dry ares but still played well. Good roll out and great to hit from. The rough was a mixed bag. Thick in some areas and very thin in others. the bunkers are what you would expect now without rakes. Some were nice and some had lots of footprints. The greens were very nice and held shots well. They rolled at medium speed and had very few unrepaired ball marks. They have been rebuilding all of the lakes around the course and hole nine is the last one. They were laying a new liner and we were told that water will be going in by this Friday. The grill is now open but I didn’t go in. I have always enjoyed this track and the condition keeps getting better all the time.

Went off at 6:48 this morning. Haven’t played here in years, but very pleasant experience. Very friendly staff seem to have the Covid-19 system down, unlike Rancho California. That course is in shabby condition except for the greens. But, getting back to Glen Ivy, the course is in darn good shape. Tee boxes are nice. The fairways are plush. More dirt than sand in the traps but decent. The greens are moderately fast and very true. We played in just over 4 hours. It could have been faster, but caught up to a foursome that had no business playing from the blue tees. They didn’t seem to have very good cart management either. All in all, great to get out and play under circumstances.

Played 5/5 using Clicket voucher. Course is looking after us golfers as the 4/30 expiration date has been extended to 5/31. Smooth check in, single rider cart and Covid protections in place. Course is in good shape. Fairways are firm for extra roll but have good coverage to provide a little cushion and nice lies. Rough was cut down for the most part but still impeded forward progress but was playable for extraction. Tees level and mowed. Bunkers were mixed some being hard pack and thin while some had adequate sand. None were recently groomed and of course no rakes.
Greens are very healthy, recently verti-cut rolling smoothly at a medium speed with a little grain influencing putts as they lost speed around the cup. Big greens with tiers, undulations and room for some very challenging pin placements.
POP just under 4 1/2. Customer friendly staff. Setting and course design make for an enjoyable and challenging outing.

Monday morning tee time trying to beat the forecasted rain. Course is in really good shape for this time of the year. Tee boxes had good coverage and are level. Fairways are transitioning from winter thin. Traps looked in good condition and well groomed. Greens were in great condition with very few unfixed divots. Greens are a little tricky with subtle breaks around the hole and large green complexes. Staff here are always pleasant and organized. POP was a little under four hours.

Played on 3/3 and course is in great shape. It could rival Goose Creek. Greens are big but no damage, smooth, but not real consistent in speed. Fairways were naturally green and rough was juicy. Bunkers had about 1" layer of sand but you could still get out. They are almost done rebuilding the water hazards and for $42 at @ 7 in the morning, price was great.

Played here on a warm sunny Monday. Booked a tee time at 10:00 on their website for $39. I arrived about 30 minutes early and was sent right out as a single. I caught up with a threesome on the 5th hole and waited on every shot after that. It looked liked there were two groups ahead of them trying to play as a group of 6 and they were at least 3 holes behind. Never saw a marshal all day. Still played in a little over 4 hours.
Tee boxes were mostly good but several were in need of cutting and on some you had a hard time finding a level spot.
Fairways are dormant and winter thin so you get great roll out with some tight lies but still very playable. This along with the rough being almost nonexistent in some places shots a little off line can run off the edges and into areas where your ball is lost.
I was in several bunkers and they had plenty of soft sand but one had way too many rocks.
The greens are in very good shape with very few old ball marks. They ran quick and true.
I like the layout here with some challenging par 3’s. Lots of elevation changes here and 18 is just a really fun tee shot. Seems like the ball stays in the air forever.
The kitchen was closed for food and there was no cart or marshal on the course. The pro shop attendant and the starter were friendly and helpfull.
I drove by the range after the round and the setup now allows you to pull you car right up to the covered stalls. If you lived close it would be a good place to spend some time to work on your game.

Walked on as a single Friday morning and was sent right out. Really enjoy the location and the layout of the course. Tee boxes were level with good coverage. Fairways are dormant and provide a lot of roll, rough is down and really not a factor. Traps were all well groomed and had nice sand. Aprons around the greens were lush and provided good lies for chipping. Greens were the highlight of the course. Well struck shots held the green, smooth surfaces, little to no unfixed divots and plenty of speed. Green complexes have undulations that you need to be on the right side of.
POP was a little over three hours. Course has a private club feel to it.

Invited to play Glen Ivy on 11/16 with my son-in-law and his friends. He got a golf moose deal – 2 for $80 teeing off at 11:00. A lot of golfers out there at this time including a tournament which was just about done getting out as we arrived. On a beautiful, warm day, we finished in just over 4.5 hours. Never really waited on any hole until we got to #16, 17, 18. But those are pretty slow holes for some reason.

Can’t really add much more that what the previous reviewer writes. Fairways are getting dormant and the roll out is incredible. Always nice to get a few extra yards. As stated, not hard pan yet but definitely firm lies. Tee boxes are just fine. A little chewed up but the over seeding is taking place. I was in a few bunkers but didn’t find any problems with them. I found them in good shape. The rough, not thick and very playable.

Greens are in good shape and rolling very nicely. Didn’t encounter any bumpy rolls and they rolled true, especially on the back 9.

I enjoy playing here. Not a real fan of crazy high elevations like on holes 15, and 18 (except for nice pictures with the camera) but the rest of the course has some neat holes. A lot of improvements have been made since I was last here. Nice driving range for one. Definitely recommend.
