Out at 5pm this afternoon 4/21/2016 for a super twilight round right after work $15.00 bucks to walk on a beautiful early evening. I walked the black's by myself and finished the front nine at 6:20pm and then joined my buddy Matt(Barkydog1) at 6:20pm on the first tee and we walked the blues finishing right at 7:45pm at dark. So this review is for the front nine only. They have small pine needle punches on the 2nd green that did not effect putts--also looked like the 2nd tee and several others tees have minor punches in them. Overall the course is looking better now than my last visit out. Greens were quick, putting decently and only holding well placed higher irons. Thought the greens were in good shape--rated a 7.5/10. Fairways are lusher now than my last visit out. They are not as lush as say Olivas or RiverRidge Lakes but are a step up from the Lost Canyons of the world. I would rate them a 6/10 with some roll out and just patches of lush grass here and there. They are still playing like a true links course. With no rain in the forecast and summer approaching I hope they can keep grass on them and water them. Was in greenside bunker on #3(only bunker) I visited all day and it was soft brown freshly raked sand. Tees lush(some crowned areas--I'm talking about you #7)--rated a 7/10 overall. Some of the rough along some of the fairways have grown up and makes the course look beautiful. Had a fun time playing the front twice in 2 hrs 35 minutes--even if my buddy was not joining me for 9 holes playing the front nine twice might have been the call today anyway looking at the number of people on the back trying to finish. For the super twilight or twilight rate I would recommend this course.
