Drove out to Avi Tuesday went to course moderate crowd 11:30 10-12 mph wind mid 70s. Warmed up on range then off as single. Overseeded green fairways outlined by dormant rough. Found a few fairway areas had thin new growth on vert cut grooves making for tighter lies there but not hard pan to hit from. Greens smooth medium fast with few unrepaired marks. Caught a twosome ahead moving quickly enough for my pace. At 10 had ten minute wait to tee off assumed a short backup due to stops at the turn. 11 found twosome waiting on struggling threesome. Went left played par 3 17 then back to 11. Played it twice and cut across to 16 ahead of a foursome for last three holes finished around 3:15. Overall a nice outing with good conditions and into wind only an extra club on a few holes. Always enjoy playing this course and my rating should have been bit higher.

Played twice this week at Mojave Resort, course is in great shape all around, even bunkers tho sand is some kind of powdery dirt, but very playable. Worth the $80 during the week, I played Sunday afternoon after one and never ran into anyone else on the course, 3 cars in the parking lot at 4:00 after 2 hours and 30 minutes playing when I left. Rough was a little high so balls could get lost in the dry Bermuda grass. Tee box's, fairways all full from overseed. Tee box's were still a bit too high so had to tee up a bit more than I like on 3 pars. Played a second round 2 days later staring in the morning with some other players they all agreed the place was in great shape. Recommend if you hit Laughlin play MoJave and Laughlin Ranch, steer clear of Las Logos they are still looking and playing rough.

Fun and scenic layout. Nice contrast with green fairways, yellow rough, and brown mountains. Course was in pretty good shape. Fairways were a bit thin and spotty, bunkers were good and greens were smooth and ran medium fast. It's a fair challenge with a lot of good golf holes especially the closing few. Course was very busy and we waited a lot but still finished in 4:30. Website had some deal times and I think I paid $50 for an afternoon tee time. Definitely worth playing and even worth the drive from Vegas.

In Bullhead visiting family as the second part of my AZ vacation, and played Mojave Resort with my cousin and a couple of his buddies on Thursday morning 4/14. Greens here are very good right now, quite firm and rolling true. Chips hold nicely, but full shots had to be struck perfectly for me to hold at all. Fairways gave good lies and lots roll, the only problem I had was being unable to find them as my driver was quite squirrely. Rough wasn't too long, although things get a little sketchy if you're really far off line. I found a few bunkers, and they had decent sand, if just a little bit thin. Tee boxes were in good shape. Pace was nice and quick, we never waited and were never pushed, finishing up in just about 4 hours even. There's a really nice grass range to warm up on, and balls are included with the green fee. Service in the shop was great, they gave me the local rate since I was there with family and like always, it was totally worth it. Avi just never disappoints, even if I don't play well.

Just posted in the forums fun photos and results of both our outings: Recap: GK Plays Blowout in Bullhead 2022 – Thank You Everyone that came out and to our supporters Linksoul, Golf Moose and OnCore Golf.

Starting with Mojave Resort Golf Club, it’s a great course to have an small to mid-size outing given it accommodates all skill levels, is a fun challenging track, has the carts, clubhouse (large mobile), driving range, practice putting all centrally staged. There are beautiful views of the surrounding desert mountains, awesome set of par 3 which 3 of the 4 have forced carries over water and a large patio to hang out on after play. Check out the course photos I just posted.

Conditions given how dry the area has been over the last six months, very good. Dormant rough frames lush green fairways and tee boxes. Greens in good shape, running smooth but man did they have some brutal pin placements out there. Sometimes I think when a Superintendent sees the name of an outing "Greenskeeper.org" they think their fellow Supers would enjoy being tormented by tough pins – LOL – either way more putts than I would have liked but very fun pin locations to take on. It’s been a while since playing here in the Winter/Spring, personally, I think the conditions are better in the Summer if you can handle the heat. But definitely worth the price. Highly Recommended.

I've played here in summer and winter a few times, and I absolutely enjoy the December and February rounds here. I love the two tone green fairways and dormant Bermuda rough look. I think the course is a bit more "playable" without the higher rough.

Casual vibe, drink cart was around a few times on each 9, and the bar/grill had a great beer selection. Also, secretly great bloody mary made with real horseradish. So good.

Really nice tee boxes with no real divot issues. Nice fairways with full grass coverage and no thin lies. Dormant Bermuda rough. Nice bunkers with some thick, heavy sand. Greens were spectacular, sneaky fast and smooth.

Like I said, I love Mojave Resort in the fall to spring time, normally gorgeous weather, and great conditions. Definitely a must play in the area.

I do want to express my appreciation to Johnny and all the fellow Gkers. We had a great time!! We were the slower group out there as we have a couple of novice golfers and we really were just enjoying our weekend getaway with great friends (enjoying some cocktails, as well). Fun course with great people!! Thanks again.

2/19 GK plays out with Matt0(cup match oponent Kevin and Joe entertaining to say the least and enjoyable to watch the bombs fly on a warm enough sometimes breezy morning with a 420 POP. Course is in pretty good shape, layuout is forgiving for the most part with ample fairways and areas to aim for to avoid trouble. Fairways fairly tight but nice lies and roll out. Rough did not seem to be that penal. bunkers filled with fine but nicely compacted sand that still required attention and good form. Tees level and ok with some 3s a little worn.
Greens provided another level of defense with tiers and rolling contours and some down right wicked pins.
Mostly level layout with some greens slightly raised. Water in play particularilly on 16 and 18.
