Played 4-14-22 early morning walking as a single for $38 joining a threesome and finishing in a little under 3 1/2 hours. Tee boxes were okay, mostly level, semi-lush with some divot damage on par threes. Fairways for the most part were in decent shape, mostly lush with some small bare spots with decent lies and good roll out. Rough was not that much longer than the fairways and in about the same condition. Was not in any bunkers but they looked well groomed with brown sand. Greens were completely healed from being punched. They were rolling smooth at medium fast pace and playing semi-soft. Haven't played here in about two years and I don't know why. Good layout, some minor elevation and a few water holes make this a fun easily walkable course.

Played 4-7-22 afternoon with Mark, Mark and John getting around the course in about 5 hours. Tee boxes were in good shape, level with nice coverage and cut semi-tight. Fairways were in great shape very lush with decent roll out and great lies, just real nice to hit from. Rough was cut about 2-3 inches longer than fairways and in really good shape but not to penal. Greens were in great shape semi- soft, and rolling smooth at medium fast pace. Always a treat to play such a wonderful course.

Played 4-7-22 early morning, walking as a threesome for $30 and finishing in about 3 hours and 45 minutes. Tee boxes were okay, mostly level with decent coverage, and minor divot damage on par threes. Fairways were okay, a little thin with some small bare spots here and there, good roll out and decent padding. Rough is cut just a little longer than fairways and in about the same shape. Was in one greenside bunker that had a good layer of light brown sand. Greens are still healing from aeration, they are a little on the bumpy side, playing a little soft and rolling medium pace.

Played 3-21-22 afternoon with Blake, John, and Mark for a very enjoyable round of golf. Pace of play was very nice finishing in a little under 4 hours with with very little waiting. Tee boxes were in good shape, mostly level and lush. Fairways were in nice condition, a little long in some areas and some areas that were a little wet, but mostly good lies. Rough was not much of a factor being cut down fairly low, and in decent shape. Was in a couple of greenside bunkers that had a decent amount of sand and nice to hit from. Greens were in really good shape, rolling smooth and fast and playing semi- firm, real fun to putt on. Fun day on a fun course.

Played 3-2-22 early morning walking as a single for $44, finishing in 2 hours and 45 minutes. Tees were in really good shape, lush and level with minimal divot damage on par threes. I really like the why the fairways are playing right now, just the way a links course should be. They are mostly dormant with a good amount of roll out, the lies a semi tight but have good cushioning. Rough is nice and lush around the greens and about 2 inches long. Rough along fairways is cut short with a few bare spots. Was not in any bunkers but they looked well groomed. Greens were in nice condition, rolling true at medium pace and playing semi-firm. Overall course in really good shape.

Played 2-9-22 afternoon with Jim, John, and Blake getting around in a little over 4 1/2 hours with minimal waiting. Golf course is mostly dormant right now but still very playable. Tee boxes were in decent shape, mostly level with some divot damage on par threes. Fairways were dormant but painted green for looks, a lot of roll out with lies that were thin but still okay to hit from. Rough was thin and dry along fairways and around greens with some over watered soft spots in some areas. Sand traps were in nice shape with a good layer of sand and fairly easy to hit from. Greens were in really good condition firm and fast on putts and chips, but still holding on full approach shots.

Played 2-3-22 walking as a twosome with Alex and finishing in a little under 3 1/2 hours. Most of the tee boxes were in good shape with a few of them being a little thin with some bare spots. Fairways were mostly dormant, but still played very nice with good roll out, semi tight lies and good cushioning to hit from. Rough was in good shape along fairways and around greens, not to long and very lush. Was in one greenside bunker that had plenty of soft white sand and was well groomed. Greens were in great shape rolling smooth and fast, playing soft on approach shots and a little firmer on chips. Fun challenging course to play that's in nice shape for winter.

Played 1-31-22 teeing just before noon and walking the course in about 4 1/2 hours as a foursome. Tee boxes were in good shape, good coverage, cut tight and mostly level with some minor divot damage on a couple of par threes. Fairways were in pretty good shape, mostly lush with some minor bad spots, not much roll out with the course playing a little damp. Rough along fairways was very lush and healthy, rough around greens was in pretty good shape with some minor bare and thin spots. Was in one greenside bunker that had a very thin layer of sand over pretty firm ground. Greens were in really good shape, playing soft and rolling pure at a face pace. Overall conditions were really nice.

Played 1-31-22 early morning walking as a single for $34, finishing in about 2 1/2 hours. Tee boxes were mostly level with good coverage on most holes with a few being a little thin. Fairways were in nice shape, mostly green with some yellow showing through on some, lies were good but a little thin, not much roll out do to fairways being a little damp. Rough was cut pretty low along fairways, and a little lusher around greens maybe 2 inches. Was in one greenside bunker that was in great shape and well groomed with a good layer of nice soft white sand. Greens were in great shape, a little soft but rolling smooth at medium/fast pace. For winter course is in real good condition.

Played 1-29-22 early morning walking as a single, finishing in about 3 hours. Tee boxes were in good condition, mostly level with good coverage and cut tight. Fairways were in real nice shape, good roll out, nice lies with good padding. Rough was a couple inches longer than fairways, it was very lush and in good shape. All the greenside bunkers have been redone with nice light brown sand, they have even softened up a lot of the steep faces on them making it easier to get out of. Greens were in great shape, semi-soft and rolling pure at medium/fast pace. They have finished the new wood wall in front of the third green and re- sodded around the front of the green, it looks awesome. Overall condition of course is pretty good right now, and well worth playing.

Played 1-26-22 late morning with Alex326 walking as a twosome, and finishing in around four hours, waiting on most shots. Tees, fairways and rough are all dormant right now, but still playing very well. Tees are mostly level, fairways are playing thin but still have nice padding and good roll out, rough is cut low and in good shape. Was in two greenside bunkers that both had a good layer of nice brown sand, haven't seen the bunkers in this nice of shape in a long time. Greens are in really good shape, playing soft and smooth and rolling at medium/fast pace. Great costumer service, and great food in the restaurant. Always enjoy the trip up here.

Played 1-3-22 with fellow GK Gurus on the Master/Western rotation teeing of mid morning and finishing in a little over 4 hours. This is a fun course to play with a lot of elevation changes and semi tight tree lined fairways. Most of the greens are on the small side with a few having a small pond near them. Tee placement is very important, getting of line can leave you a lot of blind shots to some small greens. Staff and members were all very friendly. I didn't give the course a rating because with all the rain we had the course (even though it drained pretty good) still had some areas that were still pretty wet and you could till that maintenance could not do there normal job of getting the course in good shape like I've seen in the past. If you get a chance to play here jump on it.
