Played in 3 club tourney. I agree with all the recent reviews, they pretty much say it all. Bottom line nothing to get excited about, course conditions are OK maybe even better than expected. Good course for a 3 club event but without some sort of gimmicky format not sure if ill be back. Thinking a glow ball tourney would be fun.

Played twilight Sat 8/11. Great experience. Course in in fantastic shape tee to green. Greens were medium fast and smooth. Some ball marks and spike marks due to prior traffic and late tee time. The last comment was kinda nit picking as its hard to find something wrong with this course. The biggest problem RR Vineyard has is its sister course is even better. What a great facility and i look forward to many more rounds here. Oh wait, one complaint the last hole, 180yrds into the wind to an island green. Not my favorite hole on the course. Hard to get there at the end of the day. Tough last shot.

Played Sunday 8/5 Twilight. Pace was good finished in 4-1/2 hrs. Conditions are good tee to green. Greens are putting nice but i did notice lots of un repaired ball marks. Fairways are lush but as is typical at OL they are a bit hard. Overall great experience and always love playing here. Fun, challenging with afternoon winds and a great value.

Played Sunday 7/22 twilight with a bunch of GK'ers and LAGG. Course was very accommodating to our large group but very busy that day as there was alot going on at the course, parking lot was packed. Pace of play was slow on the front 9 but picked up and overall and somewhat reasonable at 5 hours. Slowest i have ever played here and unusual for River Ridge, don't let that keep you away. The course is in great condition and will only get better in coming weeks as the fairways heal from recent maintenance. Greens are fantastic and challenging. The layout is fun with a wide variety of holes with elevation changes, doglegs and lots of water hazards. Visually pleasing course that is well worth the drive to the coast for us city dwellers.

Played Sunday 7/8 first or second group out at twilight. Course is in good condition. Tee boxes and green are good. Fairways are good with some areas of GUR marked off. Love this layout with a wide variety of holes and differing challenges during the round. Some hols are straight forward while others require forced carries and well placed drives to get on the greens. Several holes are open in the front and require you to play it short and bounce the ball on. Overall, always a good experience and a course that is fun to play for golfers of all levels.

Played Tues 6/19 at 2:35. Great pace of play as they let us out as a twosome, we did not see the folks in front of us until the 13 hole. Finished in about 3 1/2 hours. This layout is a lot of fun with elevation changes, water, doglegs and lots of forced carries. The condition of this golf course is fantastic right now with some of the lushest, greenest fairways in the area. Greens were sanded but rolled nicely. Overall great experience and I will be back soon.

Played Saturday 6/16. 11:30 tee time, played Creekside then Ridgeline at a great pace in 4 1/2 hours. Conditions were outstanding as usual at MP. Fairways are a pleasure to hit from when you can find them from the tee, lush with very few divots. The rough was dense, consistent and cut to about 1 to 2 inches. Greens rolled true and were medium to fast with very few ball marks. Overall great layout with fantastic conditions and great pace of play.

Wide open course with very little trouble. Greens and tee boxes are OK. Fairways are not maintained with 15 different types of grass, feels like the only maintenance they do is mowing and watering. Hardpan and dirt lies everywhere. Pace of play was fantastic for a Saturday afternoon. Overall OK but when you consider $45 to walk (non resident rate) Ill play elsewhere.

OUTSTANDING... Best conditioned golf course I have played in a long time. With the exception of a few ball marks on the greens this course is in perfect condition tee to green. Practice facilities are fantastic, staff is friendly and accommodating. It is an 1 1/2 hour drive for me and im already planning my next trip. If you have not played it, make a time and get out there right now. The layout is fun and the experience is top notch. Cant wait to go back.

Played in the LAGG Red, White and Blue tournament Sunday mid day. Golf course is in fantastic shape right now tee to green. Great experience playing at Rustic made even more fun by alternating tee boxes. Challenging golf course but fair and always fun to play, love this place and will be back in a few weeks after they are done aerating the greens.

The course was very accommodating to our group but seemed a little put back by such a large group not pre-arranging at tournament rates. We all showed up, kept the pace set by the course and paid full price, I hope they will have us back.

Played Sat 3/24 with LAGG league. We sent out 4 groups at 10am and it took 5 hours to finish with a few minute wait on most tee boxes. Typical of LA muni golf on the weekend and probably better than some other courses in the area. The course was in decent shape with lush fairways and smooth but slow greens. The noise on this course can be a problem with many holes next to busy streets and train tracks. Sirens, cars, trains, people talking you get it all here.

Played 3/22 at 3pm for $16 with a cart. Finished in 3 1/2 hrs great pace very little waiting maybe once or twice on a couple tee boxes. Overall well worth the price and a great way to spend a weekday afternoon. Conditions are getting better and there are signs that they are working on the course. Several tee boxes closed and playing from front areas only. Fairways are beginning to fill in but still a little patchy in areas. Greens for the most part are slow but putting nice without visable damage. 11th green still needs some work as the front half had some damaged areas. Bunkers were inconsistent some soft and some hard and most need to be raked. Overall course is showing signs of improvement and I look forward to summer play here. Play it at a discount through golfnow or twilight. Not worth the rack rate as there are better options available for full price but for an executive course the layout is fun with some good holes.
