This course continues to amaze me. I could play this course every week and not get tired of it. A good fair challenge with awesome conditions. Greens are a little firm, so shots don't hold real well and you must be precise with chip shots, but they roll true and ball marks are non existent. I was in a lot of bunkers and the sand was soft and fluffy. Tough from the fairway but nice for blasting out around the green. It is clear right from the start that this course is well taken care of with a lot of TLC.
If I were to fault the course at all it would be the clubhouse. It's hidden way in the back where you could almost give up looking for it. Then you find a couple of trailers. They just don't do justice to the course your about to experience. Fantasy Springs really should add a clubhouse the course deserves.

This is one of the best conditioned courses I have ever played. The tee boxes, fairways and sand traps are in excellent shape. The greens are near perfect, firm with the speed as medium fast with hardly a divot mark on them. The rough was not that high but it was semi thick. The staff was very friendly. The practice facility was very nice with a great putting green.

Please note: I base my overall review off of the total package/feel of the course And facilities, so know that in checking out this novice golfin gals point of view review - I tend to get a lil foo fooish at times, because that's just how I roll. ;) So, with that being said, and although I'm not a 'Valley Girl' -- OH MY GOD!!! TOTALLY!!!!!!!! -- THIS COURSE HAS SKYROCKEDTED TO MY TOP 10 FAVs...(maybe even Top 5)!! TRULY A MUST PLAY!!!! Hubby aka rstang06 and I played here on 12/7 with 6 other Fab GKers. Weather actually turned out quite favorable (Forecast called for rain; and the storm front was present in the area), seemed as though the golfin mojo was with us as the rain circled around us and we relished in the sunshine, cool, crisp, subtle winds, throughout the day. Finding this course for the first time could prove a little tricky as it winds around the backside of Fantasy Springs Casino parking lot with only a few small signs for guidance...thought we were lost for a minute. Quaint little Pro shop with great deals and Exceptional, Pleasant check-in/staff. Practice facilities on this course are Fabulous!! You get the feel of a top class resort course, rolling up to the starter and off in the distance a gorgeous grass driving range with those perfect white pyramids of new/like new practice balls glistening in the sun. Sigh! Nice, large, putting practice green in perfect condition; the chipping/bunker practice area I didn't check out, but rstang06 said they were very nice as well. Starter was professional, courteous, and eager to answer any questions and get us out on time. Pace of Play was spot on...GKers in front, and a 4-some followed us. Never felt as though we were held up/or being pushed throughout the round. Gorgeous layout/scenery throughout. Tee boxes were level and lush. Fairways rolled out fantastic!! So nice to have majority of my lies level, virtually perfect, and easy (pristine grass) to hit off of. Nice to see fairway divot marks filled in properly as well. There aren't a lot of water hazards (which I'm happy for as I don't do well around liquid grass!), BUT there were plenty of the other desert course challenges, such as narrow fairways/bountiful bunkers/desert scrub, etc., so you needed to put some real thought into each and every tee shot. Bunker conditions were overall quite good, with plenty of sand. I did get into one that truly tested me as it was a little damp, but it had been raining in the area so that's expected and certainly not a bad thing in my review here. Rough was the BEST I've EVER seen!! (about 2" and quite easy to hit out of). From Tee to Fairway, Rough to Greens -- overall conditions were consistently excellent throughout. Greens were IMMACULATE, cross-cut beauties!! Rolled true to the hole. Firm and of a medium consistent speed. Subtle undulations, but not impossible to read. Didn't find one unrepaired ball mark. I'm sure having GKers playing in front of us made the bunker/green conditions good, as you know we all repair ours (and other players) marks along the way. :) Thank you fellow GKers. Carts were clean, and well-equipped with a nice GPS system (w/flyover feature), an icebox with water, ball/club washer, and trash bin under the seat. Cart Girl was sweet as peaches and made it around to our groups several times throughout the round. My only head scratcher with regards to the facilities (not the course)...Why isn't there a state of the art Pro Shop/restaurant with even a few slots/poker-gambling tables (as an extension of the casino)??? I'm thinking that would be the icing on the cake to have a place for golfers to come, eat, shop, hang-out, and even gamble before/after their round (if they were so inclined). Have a large meeting room to accommodate large golf venues right there and who knows...maybe an upcoming year-end GK Event :) This course should be at the TOP of your 'must play' courses while in the Palm Springs area. The price to play was unbelievable; The conditions truly Amazing; and Staff professional and pleasant. Thank you Johnny GK and Eagle Falls Mgr Willie for the opportunity to play such a beautiful course. We truly Loved this course, and will certainly be coming back to play again every chance we get. :) Just this golfin gals thoughts.

This course is probably my favorite course strickly from a condition perspective. It doesnt lay out good for me and my game, but the course conditions are simply "Perfect".

Range, Tee boxes, Fairways, Bunkers, Rough and Greens are amazing.
Friendly staff and Cart service.

Played on 12/7 with 7 other GK members as a prelude to the Indian Wells event. As usually Eagle Falls was in darn near perfect condition! Greens, fairways, tees all lush and well tended. Since I rarely see a mower it makes me wonder if they have elves coming out at night to clip the grass with scissors! The only negative was some of the sand was wet and heavy but it had rained recently and didn't have time to dry out. I LOVE this course- the beauty, the layout, the fantastic customer service! It's well suited to a woman's game. There are two sets of forward tees but both of them still maintain the challenge of the hole while making it reachable for those with more finesse than power. Each hole is different and the layout makes sure you are never bored. Cart girl came around frequently enough. Rain threatened all day but it was blue skies and sunshine right over the course. :-) Everyone at this course is friendly and focused on you as the golfer- from curbside club service to the helpful starter and including actual marshal's doing their job with a smile! Sadly my game stayed home ....but I still had a fantastic time. I would play this course every day if I lived closer!!! This is truly just a fantastic golfing experience all the way around. HUGE thanks to Willie for making sure this jewel just keeps getting shinier!! Another little perk this course offers (just to round out the experience of playing a course where it IS all about the golfer!)- if you use the GPS system to keep score you have the choice at the end of the round for them to email you your score card. We've used this several times and it is simple and SO SO convenient!

Played here on Saturday, 12/7/2013. While it was raining in the rest of SoCal, it was a picture perfect day in the low desert. The course and personnel were outstanding. There were lush conditions from tee to green throughout the course. Greens were running kind of medium speed; maybe they need a little more grow in time to really get them running faster. Don't get me wrong, they were fast enough; especially down hill and down grain putts. Nice practice facility here as well. Definitely a must play when in the area.

Tee boxes lush and level, some of the back tee boxes are a little on the small side, still plenty of room to hit from but not much room for playing partners to stand. Fairways where very lush with great lies but not much roll. Rough was 1-2 inches a pretty easy to hit from. Found three sand traps, two where very nice and one was wet with hard packed sand . Greens looked real good but where a little slow with the overseed not fully grown in, give them another 2 to 3 weeks and they will be close to perfect. Fun course to play not that difficult with wide fairways and semi receptive greens. Great costumer service, would diffently recommend playing here if your in the area.

This is an eye pleasing course. Great condition. We had perfect weather on Saturday afternoon. A little bit of waiting on some holes as there are some short go for it par fours that you need to wait til the green clears.
Fairways are wide except for the Par five 7th I think it was. Greens were firm but held the shots after the first couple bounces. They were smooth rolling. I did not see any putts bounce at all. They were not fast at all though. The traps were good but the sand was heavy feeling. I loved the course and hope to get back soon. The beverage cart was out there all day. Great service and great practice range. A must play.
