played 3-12-17 with GK Gurus. This was my first time playing here. I’ve driven past it many times never even noticing it right next to the Fantasy Springs Casino. There were many things that impressed me about Eagle Falls. The pro shop had a surprisingly large selection of women’s clothing and all marked 30% off. The carts had ice chests (with water bottles) and club/ball washers. There is a beautiful driving range, practice bunker and a large, super smooth putting green. The course was awesome. Everything was green and lush from edge to edge. It’s a very nice layout, not super difficult, but still a good challenge.

Went out with the GK Guru’s Sunday afternoon, 3/12. Got there late and didn’t have time to warm up but it was nice to hook up and play with SBogey, CPennbo and abbacat. Had a great day. Pretty warm... Continue »

Went out with the GK Guru’s Sunday afternoon, 3/12. Got there late and didn’t have time to warm up but it was nice to hook up and play with SBogey, CPennbo and abbacat. Had a great day. Pretty warm out there. Mid 90’s but felt hotter. I think Eagle Falls is a great golf course. We played the Hawk tees (white) at about 6100 as the next level up was over 6700. Course is in excellent condition. Fairways were pristine, lush with healthy grass. The rough was thick which swallowed a few of my balls. Tough to find and even tougher to get out of. Greens were lush, were slower than what they looked but they rolled true. Great layout. Some water lining some of the holes which adds to the beauty. A lot of sand out there (not sure how I avoided sand seeing there are quite a few traps out there) Didn’t have much interaction with the course staff or the restaurant and not much of a club house or restaurant but it is hooked up with the Fantasy Springs Casino which is next to the course. Couldn’t do so this time but want to make a casino visit next time I’m out here. I do want to come back. Go play Eagle Falls. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Played 3-12-17 with the GK Guru round. Course is in really great shape. Lush fairways, smooth greens and a deep rough that made you work for your shots out of it. This has always been a favorite course and I tend to have high expectations when playing here. Today it lived up to those expectations. You MUST play this course. There are only a few courses I would say that about but this is the real deal. Do yourself a favor and fit it in to your schedule!

Played at 10 this morning...very nice GRASS driving range, chipping area and large putting green. Course in very fine shape...rough was manageable at about one inch. Greens and Green aprons in excellent shape playing surface smooth and rolling at about a 9, not to fast. Well worth the price for this well maintained and playable course.

Played out here with fellow GKers on a rainy Tuesday morning. This course does like the GK folks and seems to always hook them up with deals.

Still one of my favorite tracks out in the desert.

Cooler stocked with water is a nice touch

Highly recommend you get to Indio and play this track.

Played 9-20-16. When asked where I would want to play for my birthday my first thought was, "Eagle Falls." Always enjoy this course. Even in the rain today , we had a wonderful time. Saw more brown spots on the course than I ever have but that said the conditions were better than 99% of the courses I have played lately! This is a must play course. The most varied and fun layout I have played. I would venture to say that no 2 holes are the same. Perfect tee boxes, and perfect greens! What more can I say? Play this course if you have the chance. You won't regret it!

Played here today with GK'ers bsparks1961, CPennbo and sbogey. We had an 8:06 tee time and started pretty much right on time. Played the white tees. A light rain started falling on about the third hole and it rained fairly consistently the remainder of the round. We let a twosome play through on the front nine but otherwise seemed to have the course to ourselves and therefore were able to dictate our own pace.

Conditions are quite good, definitely playing better than it looks in anticipation of closing for overseeding in the near future. There are some browned out areas and nothing looks ultra lush this time of year, but the course is playing great. Greens were smooth and running medium speed. They accepted full shots well but barely made any ball marks. They are typical late summer, coarse-grain bermuda. Fairway lies varied from good to just a bit thin every once in a while. The rough was cut rather short in most places and not too penal. Tee boxes were great. Bunkers were in good condition but a bit compacted due to wetness/the rain.

This was my first time here and I loved the layout and aesthetics of the course, especially the native grasses that border many holes. Also love the fact there are no homes on the course, a rarity in Coachella Valley. I look forward to returning again after the overseed to see this course at its best and hopefully getting photos on a nice day. Thanks for setting it up, sbogey! Despite the rain, I think we all had a great time!

Late review incoming. Played Eagle Falls on Friday 6/3 as the first round of a guys golf weekend. Not much to add to Tim's review except that the day we played the greens were really slow. Not sure if it was the mini heat wave last weekend but other than that the course was great! Some tighter holes on the front 9 and if your ball ended up in the native areas, kiss it goodbye. Was a cool 112 degrees by the time we were done at noon. POP was right at 3.5 hours.

Played 6/11/16 9 am $60 POP 4.5 hrs. Summer is showing. Fairways green with a few dryer areas mixed in. They were firm but, very playable. Cut a little tight, so good ball striking was extra helpful.... Continue »

Played 6/11/16 9 am $60 POP 4.5 hrs. Summer is showing. Fairways green with a few dryer areas mixed in. They were firm but, very playable. Cut a little tight, so good ball striking was extra helpful. Greens didn't look that great. The summer Bermuda was about half filled in over the Rye and they looked rough. But, actually rolled very nicely and had good pace at a touch above medium ! Should improve in a few more weeks of growth? Looked firm, but were quite receptive, Short chips & pitches really wanted to check up. Traps & tees in decent shape, but a few Tee locations had crowns in the middle. Over all in decent shape and one of my favorite layouts in the valley.
