Played 5/20/23 Most fairways in decent to good shape with good coverage overall. Some troubled spots mixed through out. #10 fairway is mostly GIR. Greens were in good to very good shape. Receptive and ran around medium pace. Poana caused a few wobbles, but over all good roll. Was not in any traps, but they looked hardpacked. Pace of play was acceptable with a little bit of waiting on almost each hole.
Saw the cart girl twice. Easy recommend.

Played in the US Am Tour stop here. Greens were a little on the slow side, but they ran pretty true. I few bumpy spots but not bad. Fairways were very good shape with very few bare areas. Still have winter runoff cleanup on holes 10 and 18 in the fairway. Especially hole 10. Half the fairway was not playable and under free relief. Once those issues are cleared up, it will be in great condition. Either way, pretty good value for the money. Especially if you are playing outside of prime times.

Play native Oaks on Saturday 5/29/2023. Overall, course is in very good shape. Premium on driving accuracy as many holes have out of bounds or native areas.

Play native Oaks on Saturday 5/29/2023. Overall, course is in very good shape. Premium on driving accuracy as many holes have out of bounds or native areas.

We had a tee time for 1130 and check-in went smoothly went to the grass and driving range was able to hit some balls.

From fairways to the greens you can really see the improvement native oaks has undergone under Troon management. The fairways fairways had a decent amount of runoff while still feeling soft enough during wedge strikes. The greens were a little bumpy but that might be due to the late day and play in the tournament that was going on.

The tournament really did slow down the course the round took over five hours, which was probably the only downside of the round.

Would definitely recommend native oaks. This is the perfect time to play. It will get too hot later in the summer.

Course in good shape, back nine a very different and fun nine. Tee boxes were only down side, fairways, bunkers and greens all very good shape. Course has been improved the last 2 years and is well worth playing when down the Escondido Valley Center way.

Played yesterday, Wed. 9/14 at 11am. Underpar voucher for $54. POP wasn't an issue, the course wasn't busy and we took our time, never waited on any shot. Course is in overall good condition and will get even better in the next few weeks as they are continuing to make improvements.

Blue teeboxes were all great, nice and level.
Fairways were excellent, never had a bad lie all day. Fairly soggy from the recent heat, so I imagine they will get better as things start to cool down.
Didn't find a bunker, but they looked just fine and the grounds crew were out there detailing the edges and working on them to make them even better.
Rough was fairly lush, but not that long. Definitely made you think about the shot from the rough and put some extra energy into hitting down on the ball.
Greens were smooth and held shots very well, but they were a little soggy and very slow. Pretty much my only complaint is the slowness of the greens. Once the weather cools down and they can lay off the water, they will be fantastic.

Didn't see a beverage cart, but the restaurant was open with great service.

Highly recommend this course. Great layout and generally a good price point.

There are some thin spots mixed around and you often find one, but mostly good to great. Greens were in very nice shape. Receptive and running at a solid medium pace. A little on the bumpy side. Traps were very firm & T's a little chewed up. Course continues to be in very good shape and a fun course to play. Easy recommend.

I wanted to try a new course in the area and glad I chose Native Oaks. Easy to find and someplace to play again.

I wanted to try a new course in the area and glad I chose Native Oaks. Easy to find and someplace to play again.
Customer service was great throughout. Didn’t see a beverage cart but not a big deal for me. Nice grass driving range and big putting green.
Course conditions were good overall. I liked the layout and variety of holes. The front nine was open while the back nine had more bite. Greens were consistent throughout the round. Fairways were a little bare in spots but didn’t affect play.
Pace of play was an issue on the back nine. I was paired with another single and we ended up joining another single on 10. Ran into a wall of slow play.
I always like trying new courses and can’t wait to play this one again.

Played 720am March 16 from the Blue tees. $69. Went out as a single and was paired up with a three some. I was looking for an early morning round and saw this course pop up, and never heard of it. Did a quick browse and decided to try a new course and give it a shot....and man was it worth it!! Greens, fairways, rough all very lush! Some thin areas here n there but never really had a bad lie anywhere. Greens were cut that day so had some blade marks throughout. Slow with the morning dew but once the dew dried, it was VERY fast. Starter claimed they run an 11. The greens and fairways were pretty firm The starter and pro shop were very friendly and said the course used to be a 9 hole course for the longest time before getting the back 9 and subsequently two different designers. The front is much more open and bigger greens, while the back is much tighter with more slopping hills and undulating small greens. Apparently Troon took over and much improved the conditions as well. Very fun round for a great value, hidden gem that I will definitely be back for! PS: I was told by the guys I was playing with that the restaurant is excellent but I didnt get a chance to try it.

Played 01/11/22. My first time back here since 2016, and I must say things have really improved out here.

Greens were fast and smooth. Very firm though, play for a big first bounce. Fairways had good coverage, but they were also firm and fast. Get far off the fairway too far, and the rough turns to bare dirt, so keep it in the fairway with shorter clubs.

I had a hard time in the bunkers as the firm conditions means the ball will roll into a collection area in the trap, and the sand there is thin with a hard layer underneath - so you do get some bounce off the bottom and the ball goes much further than planned. Not terrible though, but I never quite adjusted.

We teed off at noon as a threesome, with a 2-some ahead of us at 11:40. Those two always stayed just ahead of us, we saw them but never had to wait, and we all zoomed around in under 3.5 hours.

In all, a great day at Native Oaks. Highly recommended.
