Played with my club on Sunday Oct 29, 2017. $85.00 for a Sunday tee time, let me just say it isnt worth that price. When conditions are similar to a course like Whispering Lakes, it is a let down. Tee boxes were not level on most tee boxes with bare spots. Fairways, I didnt hit a lot of them but when I did was I rewarded ? No I wasnt, either laying in a soaking wet patch of grass or dirt, lumpy grass sitting in a partial divot. Rough was normal, thin with dirt patches, greens were good but slow, many pitch marks not repaired due to lazy inconsiderate golfers. Bunkers had enough sand to get the ball out cleanly. Beautiful facility that I have enjoyed for many years but the course is not up to par anymore, and this has been a problem for a long time. Very sad

Played on 10/28/2017, the tee boxes were bare, the fairways were over watered with golf cart tracks through it, etc. Muddy muddy muddy. For the price paid, the course was not worth it. Might as go play smell "Prado" in Chino.

Haven't played this course in about a year, but it was never this bad. And back then, lots of the holes was cart only in order to keep the course in good condition. Not to mention, before than, the coolers had ice and water. Now, nothing. Avoid until conditions improve.

Played here for the very first time 10/20 in an SCGA one-day outing on an absolutely perfect day weather wise. It's a real shame the course was in such bad shape (sans the greens), because I actually really enjoyed playing here and I can really see the potential of this being an honest to god resort course. There were lots of negatives but the biggest one on this day was the PAINFULLY slow round (shotgun format of course) that took a touch under 6 hours to complete. This is entirely unacceptable even for an SCGA event, a shotgun format of any kind, and really any round of golf period. Momentum is non-existent, waiting on literally every shot is painful, and if it wasn't for the weather, I may have just left. On to the course review... Tee-boxes: Okay shape though every male player today was playing from white so I bet they ended up in worse shape than usual. Overall I never ran into serious problems driving the tee in the ground, just the occasional hole with tough turf. Fairways: Bad shape in just about every aspect. Many were soggy and over-watered (how?), others were dried out beyond belief. All had huge brown patches and there were divots everywhere. How I didn't land in one of them is beyond me. Rough: Penal for sure. There are lots of different hazard areas but the main rough was thick and penal. Nothing you couldn't hit out of but the OB areas included canyons, backyards, and roads so it was important to stay straight on this tight course. Bunkers: Okay condition. The sand here was more on the dirt end of the spectrum instead of the white fluffy stuff, nevertheless it was playable. I only wish the bunkers had more sand in them. Ample rakes and good condition. Greens: The absolute highlight of the course. They were pine greens, undulating, and rolled like glass; true and firm. Pin placements on this day were wicked. Some of the greens were enormous and the smaller ones were tricky. Loved these greens. ETC: Cart had good GPS. Staff was friendly (SCGA staff included). Snack shop had good food that was reasonably priced. Cart girl came around twice. No real water on the course and only two restrooms that I remember. If it wasn't for the pace, I probably would have overlooked a lot of the bad, but when you have nothing to do but wait, you notice and critique (especially for what they charge here). Course layout here lends itself to long rounds; every par 4 necessitates waiting since you can drive the hole or just about can. Not the smartest place to hold a shotgun tourney with players of varying skills. Know before you go has never sounded so right.

The Course - Tee boxes were fairly flat with some brown but very playable The fairways were smooth, with lot of run, also had some brown, The rough was about 2-3 inches playable but could grab your club. bunkers were sandy but a bit thin on ones I got into. The greens were in great shape, on the quick side with only a few ball marks.

Played the Babe today 6/11 in the SCNGA tournament. Early morning 7:00 shotgun start on a misty, cool day. We played the combo tees at about 6350 yards. Never played the combo tees here but a good idea and very challenging. We started out on #17, par 3 over water about 195 to a back pin. What a way to start! I played well but this course is tough and can find a way to grab you. Many of the fairways are pretty narrow and they had the pin placements in areas I have never seen before. They were hard to get to. Pace of play was slow. Just about 5 hours but this tournament is always slow and was expected. Regardless, the fairways were in great shape. Some browning out there which was a bit surprising but otherwise the lies were great. The rough was thick but playable. Beautiful, large trees line the fairways and do come into play. Best to be in the fairway! Sand traps were in great shape. Some are pretty deep. The greens were in great shape, they rolled perfectly and were about medium fast. A lot of undulations make them difficult to read but they were holding. I would love to play here more but the price tag is a bit high. Never really see a good deal. Only complaint today was the cart paths. Tree roots are more than evident and can make for a bumpy ride but a small price to pay for such a nice venue!

Played 3-26-17 teeing off in the afternoon as a single and playing in a little under 3 hours. Tee boxes were in good shape, level and semi-lush. Fairways were in great shape, hardly a blemish on them with great lies. Rough was not that long, cut to a uniform length and easy to hit from. Was in one greenside bunker that had a thin layer of white sand over very firm ground. Greens have almost completely healed from being punched, pretty smooth but a little long and slow. Fun challenging course that I wish I played more often.

Industry hills golf course do NOT honor our fighting Military or Veterans of Wars past. Shame. What a crying shame.

I'm a big fan of Industry Hills. This was my first time playing the Babe. Clubhouse guys were nice, food was good in the clubhouse. POP was a shade under 5 hours. Front nine is a little boring with an absurd 300 par 3. Back nine is really nicely designed however, meandering through hills and trees.

Tees: Just ok but overall even and well covered. Lots of divots.
Fairways: In real good shape. Green lots of coverage well mown.
Rough: Not particularly penal but well covered. Didn't really affect club selection
Bunkers: Pretty thin but there was enough in there to get the ball up.
Greens: Pretty good. Bumpy and about medium speed. Lots of unrepaired divots. Lines were true though.

Overall I would return and recommend, but would definitely prefer the Ike. Interesting side note, saw Norm MacDonald at the snack bar making the turn on Ike. Bartender said lots of celebs play here.

The heavy rains the weatherman predicted started after my round was over. Course conditon was quite damp and was mainly cart path only on every hole. Still a enjoyable round
