Played Lexington as the first part of a 36 hole double dip on 1/31. First thing to note is that they overseed Lexington everyyear so you get the lush look throughout the year. As for the course it was a bit firm due to the unusually cold weather in Vegas this winter. Greens and fairways were fast and firm and a little tough to gauge. Revere is a fantastic venue and host two wonderful but different courses. Lexington is tougher off the tee and makes you think about every tee shot and approach. I really enjoy this course and highly recommend.

Played on 1/27 and teed off at about 2:10 and although it was late, some golf is better than no golf.

The view from the cart area is beautiful because it's so high above the valley. Super nice front desk attendant and the pro shop is super stocked, especially on Golden Knights gear.

The practice putting green is next to the club house, so feel free to warm up as you wait for your tee time.

Because of the varying altitude differences, Lexington (and Revere for that matter) has a lot of deceiving fairways. Which is to say, if you get a really good shot, it will roll for a while. That is for the downhill fairways, because if you don't get your ball to a certain area on the uphill fairways, your ball will roll DOWN for quite a way. So there are times you'll have a mediocre drive that will roll 350 or have an amazing drive that will roll down to 125 yards. It's pretty challenging in that aspect.

There are also times, where it is beneficial to PLAY the hole. For instance, bank shots to a far left or right shot, will kick your ball onto the fairway and produce a good roll.

The greens were in bad shape. I liken the surface to very dry astro turf that had a heavy item placed on top for a while. THEY WERE SUPER FAST!!! A little dab will do ya.

I can't remember the hole, and you will know what I'm talking about when you get there, that has soooo many geese on it. They have pooped all over and you have to move the poop in order to not splat all over when you hit. At first it looked as if they had punched the fairway and left the cylindrical dirt pieces everywhere, but no, it's poop.

If you've played the arcade game Golden Tee, YOU WILL LOVE this course. hahahahaha.

I suspect that because of the late hour, we didn't see the cart girl.

The golf carts have USB chargers and coolers, but no GPS.

I have played the Revere courses numerous times, and my biggest complaint is their carts. They constantly die. I have been left stranded numerous times. The hills on the course are very steep and I suspect that they eat the battery on the carts.

The sand traps are basically dirt with rocks everywhere. There's no way I could justify calling it "sand". They could really improve these traps, or I guess I could improve my game and not get stuck in there :-)

I love these courses because of their proximity to my house. They are fun to play and you can usually get on for a reasonable price.

I've never eaten here before, but the clubhouse has a beautiful view and would definitely like to some day.

I played the Lexinton Revere course on Thursday February 16th at 8AM. I have played this course a number of times and it is a very difficult shot making course. I deided to take it easy on myself and played the Silver tees that have a slope of 119 as opposed to the Gold tees which have a slope of 133.

The weather was beautiful and just a very slight breeze.

The Range and practice facilities are very nice and well maintained with a great short game green and a large putting green. My only complaint is that the driving range is elevated tees and you hit down to a deep landing area. I prefer to hit to a level landing area to jugde the distance of my shots without having to factor in elevation.

The tee boxes were mostly level and divot damage was significant. Probably from heavy play.

The fairways were amazing and so lush from the recent rains and mild temps. There are mostly generous landing spots although there are a number of holes where accuracy is a premium and driver is not the best option.

The greens were midsize to large and were in great shape as well. For as much play as this course gets I would expect a lot of divot damage but that was not the case. I probably fixed three to four ball marks on each hole.

I really like the layout of this course as it winds up and down the canyons of anthem hills. The views of the Las Vegas strip are amazing as well as across the valley to Mt Charelston.

The beverage/snack cart came around about every 4 to 5 holes. With prices that were reasonable.

Overall a good experience. I will be back.

I played Anthem Revere Golf Club (Lexington) on a late afternoon resident rate at 4pm. It was a great deal and I appreciate the course offering these bargins. Let me start out by saying is was 109 degrees at tee off and didn't seem to let up before we finished at 7:45. The pace was good even though there were many still on the course. Course condition: The tee boxes were mostly level and well maintained. They had a normal amount of wear and tear but were full and there were many options for a variety of levels of golfers. The fairways were in fantastic shape and there were no brown or bare spots to be seen anywhere on the course. If you found the fairway you were rewarded. The rough was about an inch to an inch and a half deep and if your ball sat down in it, it was a difficult recovery. I thought it was fair and wished I spent less time in it. It was consistent throughout the course. The greens were a bit beat up by the amount of play the course obviously gets. I really wish golfers educated themselves on the correct way to repair a green divot, as this could be a major problem on golf courses. I felt Revere Management was making an a great effort to keep up with it but it was a noticeable problem that I seemed to be putting through someones poorly fixed, or never fixed divot often. The greens did roll true and the speed was slightly on the slow side. I usually play in the mornings after the greens are freshly cut so that may have had something to do with it, as well as the constant watering for the heat. There were not to many greens that had huge undulations or levels that cost you if you were on the wrong one. For the most part the worst you were faced with was a long putt as many of the greens were large. The bunkers were well kept and had plenty of sand that was often moist from watering but was not hard or compact. I only hit one trap all day but my playing partner was in them a couple of times and I noticed that he was not having issues with poorly maintained bunkers. I would consider this course a bit of target golf. You really want to think about what club off the tee not just automatically reach for the big dog. Strategy is involved in each shot. There are short par 5's but usually you had to lay up or consider carrying a hazard to reach in two. I don't hit it as long as I used to so I was often trying to avoid a hazard in the landing zone off the tee. There are good site lines and I only recall one blind shot. The tee shot on number 10 is a drop off and you can not see the fairway from the tee box. If you have time and won't slow up play, you should drive up about a hundred yards to look at the landing area before hitting. Overall this was a great day on the golf course. My biggest complaint was that there is no drinking water on the course. They do give you each one bottle of water in the cooler at the start. But this is not enough! I really feel this is irresponsible of the course. They should put at least three waters in the cooler per golfer and have more available at the 10th tee box as returning to the clubhouse to get more is a detour that would impact the pace of play. I don't know why they don't have water coolers on every two to three holes. IT's VEGAS in the Summer! I always bring a water bottle in my bag but there was nowhere to fill it up on the course except for one comfort station that had a water fountain between hole 13 and 14. Because it was so late in the day the beverage cart had quit making runs before we even teed off. I didn't sample any of the food or beverage in the club house on this trip but have in the past and have found the food to be very good but somewhat expensive. But the accommodations and views of the the strip from the restaurant are amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This place is great!!!!! Played a quick 3 1/2 hour round on a very NICE course. The tee boxes are probably the best I've ever seen since I began playing golf. There are many elevation changes and forced carries. The fairways were in excellent shape - you just had to hit them. The rough was very thick and it made finding the green nearly impossible. The greens were done earlier in the week but had recovered very nicely - they held shots pretty well and rolled a little slower than they usually do I'm sure. This course had some of the largest greens I've ever seen anywhere. The staff was great and friendly. The traps were the only place this course needs work - many were filled with large rocks. The views from this eighteen of the Revere are fantastic with the Vegas strip visible from a couple holes. The entire facility is top notch. Highly recommended!

I found a same day tee time from teeoff.com. I had previously tried to use golf now and when I got to the course they had no record of my tee time and wouldn't honor it despite showing them the reservation on my phone. I still really wanted to try both Revere courses out and am glad I gave them a second chance. First the only thing bad I can say about this round. When I got there and dropped off my clubs, they were put on a cart as well as someone who I was going to be paired up with. After checking in, I noticed this and asked if the driving range was within walking distance and was told it was a pretty good driving distance away. I asked if I could have another cart to take to the range as I didn't want to take off with a strangers clubs to go to the range. The young man that was checking in clubs seemed to be irritated by this and resistant to giving me another cart even after explaining this several times. Another employee grabbed the other set of clubs off the cart so I could go to the range.

On to the course and the round. Tee to green this course was in great shape and is laid out in front of you with the exception of hole 10. When you stand on the 10th tee box, I promise you there is a fairway out there, you just can't see it. Aim for the cart path and hit a long iron/hybrid and you will be ok. This track doesn't play long at all. My was going sideways right off the bat and I hit a 3 iron the rest of the day to include on the par 5s. I still was able to have a shot at one of them in 2 and the longest club I had into any green all day was a 7 iron. The biggest defense on this course is the greens. You absolutely have to land and stop the ball in the correct part of the green . The greens are really receptive and hold easily but have some serious elevation changes, sometimes a couple of feet. The greens rolled quick and true and were a joy to putt on.

I would absolutely play this track again but would like to try it's sister course. I think it's a course where you can put up a decent number but it will all come down to how well you roll the rock.

Played here last month and a friend & I checked out the Revere courses. Our first stop was on the Lexington course on a very windy day! I've been to Las Vegas now maybe a half dozen times and while it isn't uncommon for it to be this windy, I've never figured out how to play a non-links course in 30+ mph winds! Because of the wind I wasn't able to play some of the holes as they were designed, but I'll do my best to be objective! However, I think the wind kept all the other golfers away so we enjoyed a leisurely 4 hour round.

Revere Golf Club is up in the foothills on the south side of town and there are two courses there, Lexington and Concord. If you are staying on The Strip then it should take about 20 minutes to get out there. I'm not sure I'd take a cab, but we had a car which made it easy to get out there. I did see on the course's webpage that they offer transportation to and from the course which could save some money compared to taking a cab. As you'd probably guess there are some nice views and elevation changes! Both courses are located in Sun City Anthem which is a Del Webb community. So even though there are plenty of homes around, there shouldn't be many too many off course distractions!

I couldn't find a bunch on the history of this decision, but Revere Golf Club is named after Paul Revere who is a well known individual from the American Revolution! The courses (Lexington and Concord) continue with that theme as they are named after battles in the war. The only other thing that I noticed about the theme is that the on-course hole markers make reference to different topics from the era. While researching courses in Las Vegas, I've noticed that plenty have themes so the Revere theme here is a nice touch to differentiate the courses. I certainly think that there could have been more memorabilia in the clubhouse and more done on the scorecard and website to support the theme, but what's been done is some nice trivia.

Our first round was on the Lexington course, which is regarded as the superior course from my research. In short, I agree with that. I say that mainly for three reasons. First, the Lexington course has views of The Strip. I'm a sucker for courses with nice views and it was a treat to see the Las Vegas skyline off in the distance. Second, the Lexington course didn't feel as squished onto the property as the Concord. Finally, the Lexington course has a desert feel to it. There are different colored rocks and desert bushes which leave no doubt about the region where you are golfing! Lots of holes are framed by hillsides and the colors of the green grass and desert landscape contrasted nicely!

We played the gold tees which are 71.1/133/6590 and each nine has a similar setup. The opening holes play downhill towards The Strip while the closing holes play back uphill towards the clubhouse. There are a nice mix of holes in valleys and on ridges so the wind wasn't always a bother! I was surprised how forgiving the course was off the tee considering that there is so much desert surrounding the holes. I'd even call the fairways "wide" and there are only a few holes that I'd classify as target golf which is just fine by me! The main challenge off the tee on the Lexington course is going to be judging the first bounce once the ball lands on the sloping fairways. The main difficulty still awaits though after finding the fairway! The course is what I'd call a second shot course and you will have to be precise with an iron into and around the greens. The greens are on the small side, have severe undulations, and many have elevated back tiers. That made it pretty easy to make a bogey on almost any hole!

I'd say the conditions were good, nothing that would win any awards, but certainly playable. The course was very green and the overseed came in nicely. There were a few thin sections but that isn't uncommon from my experience playing courses that have been overseeded. The course showed some signs of heavy play with plenty of ball marks on the greens and divots on the tees. The roll on the greens wasn't affected though as my putts rolled smooth and fast. Many tees were sloped which drives me crazy!

For the price we paid (~$40) I didn't have any complaints and would strongly recommend the Lexington course. They threw in some free range balls and waters so it was a great value, especially during peak time of year. Although for the $100+ rack rate I'd probably steer you towards some other places in the area that I've played. I wanted to love the course design, but I kept wishing that the green complexes were a bit more playable. I didn't feel like some decent shots were rewarded as I was left with a putt that broke a ton. That aside, the Lexington course was interesting to play and I was never bored as there always seemed to be multiple ways to play the course.

Played here Wednesday, 1/13 at 10:44 with sixpez to kick off a three-day Vegas golf trip. Starter was great and let us go a bit earlier than our tee time by ourselves. Conditions for the most part were good and consistent throughout the course. I rated it almost all 7s across the board.

We teed off in the 10:00 hour but for the first few holes, the ground underneath the greens was seriously rock hard. We're not sure if it was frozen or what, but the turf on top accepted shots well, and trying to fix a ball mark felt like trying to stick a fork into solid granite. Greens were smooth and medium fast, but not without assorted dings here and there. That was pretty much the case throughout the course – conditions were very good, but never felt pristine. (Perhaps the unfair result of playing here as the first round following Rams Hill.) Fairways were nice, rough was overseeded and lush, bunkers were fine and tee boxes were good to great.

The design is fun and integrates lots of desert terrain and elevation changes. There is at least one hole that feels out of character with the rest of the course, but overall I really enjoyed the layout. Recommended!
