Pretty much ditto what everyone has already mentioned. Last year I gave it a 10/10. This time around is 9/10 which is of course still spectacular! Just some minor things here and there that I noticed yesterday such as the tees being a little long and a good amount of footprints on the greens but as such, these are just minor nitpicks and really nothing that affects play at all. The greens still rolled beautifully. Fairways and bunkers look like something straight out of a magazine! Can't wait to go back and try out the golf bikes.

What an incredible golf course! I had a great time playing and experiencing Rams Hill Golf Club. The greens are smooth and fast, the fairways are perfect! I was in a few sand traps and found them to be a challenge. The sand was good but thy made you pay the price for hitting a bad shot. The staff was excellent from the greeting upon arrival, to the Restaurant staff. I was very impressed when one of the Owners came up to the GK group and thanked us for playing. This is a course I would recommend to any one staying in the Desert area. The drive is a long one from Orange County but one I will make again!

What a great course. My only issue with this course is that it's 2.5 hours away from me. It was a trek getting there but worth it for the few times are year we go. This is a can't miss course, from the pristine driving range, using ProV's and range finders to the immaculate fairways. The course was in great shape customer service was good (they found me after the round to give me the GPS i left in the cart, D'oh) another great GK plays and another fun round

Enjoyed a Round with the GK Crew yesterday 12/11. This is the second time I have played this course and I think its gets better every time. Having a little course knowledge helps a bunch and Knowing where to land the ball on the green can leave you some nice and easy putts on what are normally treacherous greens.

Conditions here are top notch and its not hard to believe what they charge for it. From tee to green the course is like an oasis in the middle of the desert a with beautiful dark green fairways and rough with a lighter color to separate the greens. My only little disappointment was the sand. It was not bad but I came across a few traps that were rather firm and tough to get under the ball which is normal for the fairways but I just think in my opinion were too firm for my liking.

In all the staff and this course is a must play when out in the area. Its about 70 miles from the palm springs area and 150 miles from orange county so its going to be long turn around and I highly suggest staying somewhere as 12 hours for one round of golf can take its toll.

Everything about this course and property is wonderful. Greeted at the private entrance and the positive way in which we were welcomed set the tone for a great day. Course, as other alluded to, was almost perfect in every way. I absolutely love the layout of this course, with nice variety of holes (short/long par 3's, tempting reachable par 4's and some par 5's that are very reachable in two shots). If yesterday was the "worst" the conditions have been in, then all other courses could stand to learn from Rams Hill. Was only in one bunker all day and it was the type of sand you desire in SD courses. Greens ran fast but I thought fair.

My apologies to all for not being able to stick around after the round, but I had fun seeing old playing partners and lots of new faces as well. Johnny, this is by far my favorite course you have introduced me to and I will continue to make it out here as long as you choose to make it an event. Thanks again!

Played in the outing today as well and had a great time. Rams Hill never disappoints. I don't think I have been here during this time but I thought the conditions were much "softer" than before. Not sure if it's the cooler temps or what.

Greens much softer and maybe not as pristine as before but still better than any other course I have played. A few more marks than I would like to see and we repaired where we could. Still I thought some greens rolled out more than I thought on approach shots.

Fairways and rough were fantastic. Divots seems to been filled and I don't recall seeing a lot of unfilled ones. Rough has some bite if you got in there.

Sand was soft. I was in all green side bunkers but fairway bunkers looked the same.

I thought the markers on the tee boxes were pretty wide which allowed of a lot of teeing area. I saw very little evidence of damage on them.

This is a top notch golf course run by a well organized staff. It is always a pleasure to play here and I'm already looking forward to coming back.

Played in the 10:30 group in today's year-end GK Plays. Fun times with HmtGolfGuy, sixpez and UNCLEDDBOY23. We waited a bit on pretty much all tees and approaches, but overall pace was good at about 4:30, and who really cares when your surroundings are as beautiful as they are at Rams Hill? At one point today I actually felt like, "Oh no, the round is going too fast. I don't want it to end!" Conditions are excellent, as is typical here. The greens have softened considerably since the re-opening. They said they were 11.5 on the stimp today but I don't think they were quite that fast. They were medium fast, mostly pure (UNCLEDDBOY23 had a putt bounce off line when it hit something en route to the hole) and accepted full shots pretty well. Later in the afternoon they started to show quite a few footprints, but overall they were very good. Fairways are incredibly lush and beautifully deep green. The grass was a little long, as Rat Patrol mentioned. Not sure if maybe they weren't cut today or if that's the norm. Rough was also very lush, probably about 2-3 inches deep in most spots. I was in one bunker and it was perfect. Tee boxes excellent. If I want to get real nitpicky, I feel the course wasn't quite as immaculately manicured all around as it has been on my three previous visits, but really that's only visual stuff and nothing that affects play. Overall, an incredibly fun day, I played great, and took home a 2017 Golf Nomad calendar and $25 GolfMoose gift certificate. Thank you Johnny for this event and everything you've done for us all year! And thank you to Rams Hill for having us out and to all the sponsors for making the GK Events so fun and full of great prizes.

Now for the course. I've come out here now 12 times over the last 4 years. It remains the same. Not a blad of grass out of place. You'll be reading many superlatives about this course in the coming days so just know that I agree with you very thing said. Having said that, I did find a 8 inch square of dirt on the way back f I'm the 12th tee just before re the gravel began. If you missed ss d this outing so sorry for you.

Great day with Rene, Willie and Donna, and of course all the other GKers! Weather was perfect, very little wind, warm but not hot, perfect. The course is in great shape like always tees, fairways, rough, bunkers, greens all in great shape. Fairways were a bit long cutting down on roll out but that also made the ball sit up for great lies, I hit 3 wood with ease from the fairway a few times. Service was great, food was great and the patio was a great place to hang out!
Definitely recommended!
