The only thing I didn't like about the course was its lack of markings for yardage. The carts are equipped with GPS devices, but if they're not turned on, then they don't do much good. The driving range kinda sucks (you hit into a gravel pit), but everything ON the course was immaculate, challenging and fun. Best elevation changes in Phoenix, and the Par 3 17 with the two greens is a cool signature hole. Highly recommend.

Scoreboard - Irvine, CA 
Played on 6/15/08. Course was in fairly good condition. Although the carts had a nice color GPS it was still easy to end up in waste areas. At times this resembled target golf, but overall it was a fair challenge. This was my first time at Club West so I would definitely score better now that I've seen the course. Since it was 115 when I played it was helpful that every other hole had ice cold water and the beverage "Mini Van" came by quite frequently. I would play this course again.

Only my 2nd round, and first PAR 72. The two PAR 3's on the back 9 are great. You shoot from a good 120 yds above the hole with a view to die for.

With the SWPGA Pass this round was only $20 so it was a deal. The course was in good shape, though the winter grass is starting to go. The 17th hole has two greens which is the first time I have ever seen that. Played the back one since that was the yardage on the cart GPS. Sand in the bunkers was very soft so shots tended to plug. Played the front with wind gusts up to 30 MPH which made for an interresting round.
