played this course last week, reasonable price on weekdays through golfnow.com.course is undulating and pretty wide open fairways. putting green are decent and not too fast. the good point for this course is its wide open view of the hills and mountains. its very long course give you the leeway to hit your longest drive and irons. Its just a little bit windy during the afternoon round. I'll rate this medium class in category of difficulty but still very challenging course...

played a tourney on here a week ago on a sat.. the staff is super nice and very helpful. good practice greens for putting and some chips, no range.. the layout is 2 course with one inside the outside one. lots of elevation changes and for the most part a very interesting course. I thought a couple of holes were unfair as even in the fairway out 100yds dead center you couldn't see the pin and only part of the green. I had to drive up to see where to hit it.. other than that the sencery is very good and at times I'm told can be very windy there as its on the backside of hills that shelter the valley so yes it blows there in the afternoons as its cooling off... I would go back and play here again as the twilight is a great deal.. I have to admit that I knew there wasn't going to be a driving range there so one exit away I stopped and hit 1/2 doz drives out into the waste lands of a near by creek that is dried up....lol walking the course is a true test of your stamina so carts are the ticket...

Played Sunol Valley (Palm course) on Saturday. Very windy, but typical for this course. Greens have not quite recovered from recent aeration, but still played pretty fast. Fun course! Not too crowded on weekdays.
