Players course, 7:30 time (15 min. late), blue tees, $50 green fee walking on Sat. 3/2/13. Turned into a very warm day, sweater off on the first hole. Greens are the best part of this course, not fast but rolling smooth and true, holding iron shots well. Fairways a bit patchy as is the rough, dry and many divots to navigate, but had mostly decent lies. Bunkers were well maintained and in good shape ... I was in a few today and was able to get out with ease. Layout here is flat (lots of walkers) and not too challenging, firm fairways meant lots of roll out making the longer par 4's not terribly difficult and the par 5's reachable for longer hitters, or just a short wedge third for us average Joe's. Coots (and their poop) can be an issue here near the water hazards, gotta watch your step ... I hate coots.

A bit slow on the POP today (4:30), don't know why, maybe cuz many like to walk this course ... group behind us was well over a hole behind on the back nine though and I'm sure that didn't help. Okay for what you get for your $$, nothing flashy though.
