This was the first time that I have played either course at Mile Square. It seemed odd to me why the Players course was so much easier to get a tee time than the Classic course, but after I saw the difference in price, I understood.

First, let me say that the best part of this course is the greens. They were all in very good condition with minimal to no damage anywhere. The pins were in some odd spots, but they rolled very true and held shots that they should've held and didn't hold shots that they shouldn't have held.

The fairways to rough were a mixed bag. On the front nine, it was really hard to tell the difference between the fairways and the rough. The fairways were pretty fuzzy and even a bit thick in some spots. On the back nine, though, things improved a bit and the fairways were much nicer and the rough was actually cut higher than the fairways and it punished adequately when I found it.

The tee boxes were a mixed bag. Some were really nice and some were really hammered. The traps were fine and the pace of play was outstanding.

I'm not sure if I will be back here for a weekend round. It was $73 total to ride (the course could've been walked, but the people I play with are strictly riders). For that amount of dough, we could've played many other courses that are manicured much better. I like the course, but I'm going to need to get here on a weekday to feel like I'm really getting good bang for my buck.
